Not perfect, but decent
I do recommend this tent if you have a jeep and kids, but I'm not confident it'll survive a year of actual camping use. I've used this tent on 3 different occasions now. Within a month, I've had two different parts rip: one of the side pole connections, and the netting around the door. As far as use on a jeep, it's amazing! It fits perfectly and I can let the kiddo sleep on top while I sleep down below. Furthermore, I can lock up the and leave the back window open so I can talk to him and see him, while the alarm goes off if he tries to get out. Do yourself a favor: get some better stakes, and a 36" rolling duffel bag to put the whole thing in. You'll never get that thing back into the bag it came and it's not worth bothering with. Also, leave the windows and the doors partially unzipped when you pack it up so you can get all the air out before you fold it.

Fun tent with two major flaws
I've used this tent twice on one week camping trips. I have a Subaru Forester and it fits perfectly. The tent is roomy and I'm 6'2" tall so the height should be good for almost anyone. There are two major flaws in this tent however that should be addressed at some point for this to be a 5 star product. 1. The zipper for the front window catches every time you try to zip or unzip the tent. It is very annoying! 2. The mesh that holds the poles catches the pole connectors making this a very difficult tent to put up and take down. Aside from that I'd say it is a good quality tent.

Great product
I have a 1998 Ford Expedition for which I bought this tent. The instruction are pretty good but make sure you practice putting it on before you use it camping. Make sure the ground is reasonably flat. After you lift it stake the corners temporarily while you line up the vehicle with the opening. That way you can adjust the position of the tent behind the hatch. It has to be lined up so it will snug up when you attach it to the vehicle. My Expedition has the roof rack and found that using the included extention straps and attaching to the most forward area on the rack works great. Quality is excellent. Seams are sealed. Zip up window covers are a plus. Other tents I researched just have the mesh windows and utilize the rain fly for privacy. Fits great. Can be attached by one person but it's hard to do. Also, throw the stakes out that they furnish and get a set of heavy duty ones.

Works well for a Jeep Wrangler with a Gobi rack.
Have only set up once, but did so in approximately 25 minutes. I don't have much tent experience, so the initial setup was slow. I suspect the next time will go at least 1/3 quicker. It fit my 2012 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door with Gobi Rack perfectly. A really nice little camping addition for the rig. It seems well constructed and seals well to the vehicle. There is even enough room to have the tailgate open with a bike on the rack, (have to be careful not to rip the tent when pulling around the bike). I'll be using it next week and will update this review. UPDATED: Quick update...I've been very happy with this product. I've set it up and used it on a number of occasions. I also had occasion to make a warranty claim (with less than a month to go) and received outstanding customer support. Tent is ideal for my use and love that it can be detached from the vehicle and left in place. I had to sections of a support pole snap. In all fairness it was in a thunderstorm and the winds were quite extreme. As mentioned above...Rightline customer service (Brian) was fantastic. The tent goes up fairly easy, (easier with 2 on a windy day). Can easily be detached and re-attached. Keeps the interior of the vehicle and tent quite dry (when used with optional rain fly). All zippers, pulls, and screens have held up sell over a number of uses.

Solo camper - I can put this up myself.
For 19 years, I said I didn't want to camp. I didn't like sleeping on the ground. This tent solved that problem! I love sleeping in the back of my SUV. I've been out in it twice. Once by myself (friends camped near me using the same tent). As a solo camper, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the tent up myself (I'm a 55yo woman). And I admit the first time (in my driveway) I did struggle for an hour. But once I got the hang of it, I'm now able to put the tent up by myself in about 10-15minutes. Of course it's always easier with help. The tent is spacious (lots of room for ground sleepers). It fits snuggle to my 2007 Saturn VUE and my friend's 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I love that it completely zips shut so you can leave it during the day. The only two things I would change: 1) the side straps need wider hooks (I struggle to attach it to my wheel well). and 2) the tent stakes are cheap and bend easily. I had to buy new stakes.

I love this tent
2 year Update: I still love this tent. We have used this tent A LOT!! We have used this tent in all types of weather: hot humid days, wind, rain, cold, snow, sleet, everything. It has held up very well. No rips or tears. No problems at all. Upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars. I love this tent. A lot of good things 2 minor annoying things. On a recent trip to Florida we used this tent in conjunction with our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. It fit the back of the van perfectly and hooked up nice and snug fairly quickly. It was easy to hook into and unhook when we wanted to go into town or drive somewhere. During our stay there were some massive rain storms with heavy wind. The wind was relentless. The tent had no problems. It stayed put and there were no tears or holes from the pounding. During the rain everything stayed dry and there were no leaks, drips, or condensation on the interior of the tent. It worked perfectly. The only 2 minor things about the tent that need improvement were: the zipper for the front door catches when you try to zip/unzip the tent and the mesh that holds the poles catches the poles making it a little annoying when putting the tent up and taking it down. Overall a great tent. Plenty of interior room with a tall ceiling.

Great idea and pretty well executed!
Pretty easy to setup as a one-person assembly. Confusing at first to find all the right pole attachments but after that, it was a breeze. Tent stakes are pretty weak but they do the job. And I love the waterproof floor! All in all, a pretty big tent with extra pockets and lantern hook.
