Soooooo I plugged in my REDDEX and waited for the magic to happen. Well, I didn't see any mice for at least two weeks. Then suddenly one day while sitting in the my kitchen having a cup of coffee I see it scurry across the kitchen floor not 3 feet away from me. Well the cup of coffee went one way and I went the next! I mean I saw this thing so often after that, I started to add an extra place setting for it. UGH. I'm thinking it might not work well in apartments.

I have used Riddex electromagnetic devices for two decades. I am a packrat, and have a huge professional library full of books and paper. I need a way to maintain my library without attracting roaches. I also tend to store many packing boxes in the garage, as I move frequently. I cannot tell you when I last saw a roach. I am aware of the FTC complaints but am not sure if those just involve the ultrasonic devices and not the electromagnetic??? My results, though, have been impressive. Now, I do have questions about the rodent repellant function, but do have some experience suggesting that this device may be effective. In November I discovered that the garage was infested with mice. I became skeptical re Riddex, but a couple of weeks ago I evaluated my use of them--something I had taken for granted, and over time, had forgotten the instructions for use. I had had 2 installed in the garage, which the manufacturer has apparently discouraged. My units were also 20 years old. On Christmas night I decided to try the less-used spare device in the bedroom, and immediately noticed cessation of noises I assume were from mice. So I re-evaluated my installations and realized that the second story unit had been unplugged for some time, and downstairs there were 2 units close to each other. Nighttime is definitely quieter after relocating devices. I decided to order some new devices, in case age had lessened their effectiveness. So far as we can tell, we haven't had mice inside the house, and I tend to think that Riddex may be the reason. I still hear some occasional "thumping" in the walls but not the activity I did before reinstalling the devices. I haven't replaced all of my old units with the in the replacements but am considering doing so. My initial shipment was somewhat shocking. The packages were sticky, had debris stuck to them, and one had been cut open. It appeared as if the shipper just threw some returns in a box. I complained to Amazon, and they replaced the units with clean, unopened items. In short, I am somewhat unclear re the impact on rodents but cannot otherwise explain why we have not had issues with roaches over the past two decades, and am convinced Riddex is the reason.

Pros: I've used these for years and they really do work. Cons: They are too pricey. Many other options for far less money now. AND I wish, they would remove the flashing red light, or seriously dim it. It's nice to know it's working but I'd rather it work discretely.

When I used this product, mice activity did increase. We put sticky traps everywhere and within 7 to 10 days, they were gone. This product works!

Bought this for annoying gnats and we were already getting annoying spiders inside, house flies etc. IKID YOU NOT‼️These devices work & work fast. Left to run errands a few days ago after plugging them in, by the time we came home... NOTHING ‼️ NO MORE ANY TYPE OF PESTS. I definitely recommend these devices.We don't have house pets, there was no noise. Some of these reviews said it did not work for them, but I thank God they dud for us. Used all 3 devices. My partner was not willing to settle for another brand and I'm glad I listened, said they worked in the 90s. I definitely, definitely! Recommend these 10/10 worked for us.

I have to say that I was getting worried at my apt but sure enough in 3 days I started to see Less roaches and a week later they were gone. This works in the walls so it’s repels with a sound wave. I bout a three pack and spread it. One in each far end and one in center so f home in the living room. I believe 2 was suffice but the 3 pack was such a good deal. I’d get it t again.
