I thoroughly researched chaises until I decided on this one, and it has met all my criteria for occasional sunbathing: reasonably priced, lightweight and easy to move around the backyard, simple to assemble (no strength or genius required and helpful directions included), clean lines, and not too low to get up off of. The only reason I gave the four stars is that it's not a luxury or heavy-duty item (might be blown over in a strong storm), but that's okay because it doesn't advertise itself as those things. I love this chair, I do. I got it because I am not happy with my original chairs. They are that faux wicker material and they are super heavy and bulky. Also, there are more places for biting bugs to hide up underneath them. So as far as comfort goes, this chair is far nicer. I wanted to ensure I was getting chairs that had full recline and decline for sun bathing. (keep this in mind because some lounge chairs do not go all the way down.) It is super lightweight and the mesh doesn't get hot and it makes you dry out quick. But I was not thinking when I ordered this, because I do not have time to assemble furniture, especially when it doesn't make it cheaper. You would think that you'd get a discount for stuff that requires assembly, but nope. ... show more

We spend a lot of time in our back yard in the summer. Our old chairs needed to be retired and these are the perfect replacements for them. The chairs are comfy and adjustable. We are used to assembling furniture purchased online, so it wasn't a surprise to have to assemble these lounge chairs. I must admit that it took some time but no more than I expected as it was very easy to do. They are comfortable and sturdy. I haven’t had it long enough to tell whether it’s going to resist southern Oregon climate and our 14-year-old and her friends. Time will tell, but I expect them to last for years. They have no arms, but it doesn’t feel like they need any. I can only see the need for arms if you have any physical condition that prevents you from standing up easily when you’re laying down flat. Otherwise, it can be useful not to have as it gives you more mobility freedom, especially because these chairs are not very wide. I recommend it. ... show more

I really like this lounge chair. It was fairly easy to put together, and didn't take my husband and myself very long, maybe 30 minutes. It did come with some little plastic screw covers that pop on but not all of them want to stay on very well, so I am hoping that doesn't make it more prone to rust at those points. The seat is also a little less wide than advertised as you can see in the photos, but all of the other measurements seem correct. It seems pretty well made other than some sloppy stitching around the edges on the mesh, but I was able to clean that up myself and it's not too noticeable. Overall I think it's a good buy, and if it holds up well in the elements it will be worth the price. ... show more
