****REVISED REVIEW 9/15/22**** This is a much needed revision to my storied experience buying my first treadmill from Rhythm Fun. Large purchases made online can be intimidating. Rhythm Fun went above and beyond to correct the issue I encountered with my treadmill. The matter was not solved in a day. To be fair, they were prompt in response time and provided realistic solutions, never once dismissing my case or ignoring my correspondences. WORD OF ADVICE: For your part, I recommend any person who needs help be prepared to provide any relevant information to quicken your solution along, including the Amazon invoice and tracking number, and pictures or videos of the unit. I am truly relieved for the positive outcome and would recommend this brand to others, not only for the quality unit but the fantastic customer service. ****ORIGINAL REVIEW**** Not mad. Just tired. I hoped Rhythm Fun could help us. I recently purchased the Rhythm Fun treadmill as part of the slow and difficult process of helping my father regain mobilty after COVID. For my part, I did my research and tried to find a highly rated, reasonably priced treadmill that won't confuse my already overwhelmed dad. So I chose Rythym Fun as a respected company and this model hands down. Specifically the single dial/button control was very important for an elderly user. I was so relieved to have finally found the treadmill and eagerly waited for the box to arrive so I could begin time sensitive rehab with my dad. I waited. And waited. I contacted FedEx daily. Then Amazon multiple times. After a lot of confusion, I saw the treadmill was destroyed beyond recognition. I was told by both FedEx and Amazon that the company was notified early on however no one from the company reached out to me. What's more, I asked Amazon for a replacement as my father desperately needs a treadmill but they did not provide one. Perhaps it is very silly to believe once Rhythm Fun was notified that our treadmill was not just damaged but completely destroyed, a representative from Rhythm Fun would reach out to make things right. Isn't that protocol, for Rhythm Fun once notified, in extreme circumstances like this? This experience should have been a good one but instead it was just an endless loop of daily, long, confusing calls and no help for my 80 year old dad who needs it most.     • Too many bells and whistles
The good: I've been using this treadmill for nearly 1 year at this point. A lot. A lot a lot. I spend upwards of 4 & 1/2 hours per day on this thing, walking while I work at a standing station. 90 minutes minimum. It has held up very well. The motor is quiet, the belt is smooth and walking on it for long periods of time is comfortable. The belt doesn't seem to have stretched much (no slipping) and, even if it did, it could be adjusted. The treadmill did require some minor belt adjustment when I received it to make sure that it was aligned, but this was a fairly simple task. I also occasionally have to lubricate the machine... but tracking exactly when and how much to lubricate is kind of beyond my ken. If the machine were smart enough to alert you when it needed oil (like the tin man did) then it'd be great if it would alert you somehow... by making a small beeping noise, maybe? Oh, also, this thing is cheap. Scary cheap. But, it's very solidly built (where it really counts) and I think it's an extraordinary value. My guess is that these machines might have extensive QA problems and it's probable that a large percentage of the products are duds, but, if you get a good one (as I seem to have), then it'll probably last you through several years of consistent daily use. The bad: This stupid treadmill is incessantly beeping at you. For no reason. And I hate it. It squawks at you like a scared chicken when you plug it in; when you change the speed it rat-a-tat-tats at you like the high hat on a Casio keyboard drum machine. Really, guys. I don't need to hear beeps. Please stop with the beeping. The treadmill has a 99 minute and 59 second auto-stop... so it'll beep at you and then suddenly slow to a stop if you're on the machine for longer than it can handle. Minor annoyance. Has killed my groove before. Will kill it again. The worst "feature" is the Bluetooth speakers. There is no authentication stage to the Bluetooth connection. So, if you're like me, and you live in an apartment complex or condo and have the treadmill in your sleeping area, then, if you've forgotten to unplug the treadmill, then at some point in the middle of the night a loud voice will say, in English with a heavy Chinese accent, "The Bluetooth Device is Ready to Pair!" And then... guess what? All of a sudden, you get to hear your drunk neighbor's music. Yay! I have come very close (screwdriver in hand) to taking the treadmill apart and disconnecting all of the speakers. The magnetic safety chain has to be attached to the rail if you lift it and put the machine in "run mode" otherwise, it won't work. I don't like this feature either. Lastly, some of the parts are... you guessed it... cheap and ill-fixed plastic garbage. Button moldings around the safety bar release buttons came loose and would not pop back in in any permanent kind of way. Super glue. OVERALL: Great value for the money. Sturdy. Reliable. ALL OF THE FEATURES ARE ANNOYING. If I wanted my treadmill to be a computer, I'd buy a Peloton Tread. Thank you. EDIT: Also, the timer is pretty fast.     • I great device for cramped spaces.
I've been using this treadmill for a few months now and I really enjoy it. It fits under my couch when not in use. It fairly quiet and is wide enough for a grown man. It also supports the weight of a grown man. Its long enough for a man's brisk walk, but not run. Its fast enough for a fast pace jog for my wife. The width of the track is more than adequate. The on-board control leaves much to be desired, as if difficult to turn on and off from. The included remote control works much better. There is a timer that show long you have been running/walking, and a level adjustment. No programs or anything, so its just a basic treadmill. For what it is I definitely recommend it. ... show more
