The media could not be loaded. Definitely want to install the Rheem reculation pump when installing this unit. Installation is somewhat complicated, not something I would do as a 1 day project. I have as a amateur about 15 hours total time from unboxing to flushing system..but well worth the time. Once installed with a reculation pump it works awesome, hot water as much as you want as long as you use. ... show more

Great product but they get bounced around during shipping. More packing is needed!! I hooked it up an the unit would not turn on! After 1.5 hours on the phone with tech support, I took the electronic panel off to find the power cables off the off/on switch from the back.... it takes some getting used to as the water runs cold longer than with a tank unit, but other than that I am glad I switched. should have done this years ago.. Don't forget to buy a stand alone condensate pump. Don't under size, go bigger than you think you need! These are rated assuming your supply water is not super cold and the discharge temp is 125F, much lower than your storage tank. ... show more

Unit kept going down with codes, and the customer /technical support is horrible . They believe it is always an issue outside of their unit even though the test they have me run prove that the install isn't the problem. Had 2 different of the same unit for 9 months which the y only worked for 5 months ... show more

Buyer beware. In order for this unit to work, as advertised on Amazon, my professional installer informs me you must separately purchase an additional Recirculation Pump, Part # AP17920. On Amazon, the current cost of this additional recirculation pump is $325. The additional installation LABOR cost, above and beyond the initial quoted installation cost for the tankless water heater, is approximately $1,000. To reiterate, no place on Amazon's online advertisement does it inform the customer that this additional part is required to perform the basic functions listed in the ad. The unit is very nice and slim. Does not take up very much space by itself, however after running all the lines and filter it does take up quite a bit of space. Almost as much as my traditional water heater. You need to know that this thing is loud and makes a loud clicking every time water is turned on or off.
