First off, I will verify that the material used in the case is aluminum and not plastic. It may sound like plastic when you rub your fingernail over it, but it is definitely aluminum. Secondly, as pointed out in other reviews, the bulbs supplied or not the GU 10 bulbs that are shown in the description. In the description of vendor says the lamp is not dimmable and in my application, I wanted to have it be able to be dimmed so I ordered bulbs according to the specifications that were dimmable only to find out that I had purchased the wrong ones. Now to the main issue build quality: Of the four light fixtures in the box, all of them needed to be disassembled, and the screws tightened or inserted into the Mogul bases. Three of the four fixtures had lightbulbs that were loose and shaking around inside the fixture itself . The fourth fixture that I pulled out of the box had both bulbs still inserted in the sockets, but three of the four screws that hold the bases to the plate were out of the plate and still underneath the bulb. That could cause a severe shock hazard or short circuit if they were to come between the contacts on the bottom of the bulb as they were just loose underneath the bulb; refer to the pictures that I have attached to this review to show the different issues that I found. Also be careful when you open the box. The parts are not secured in bags. They are loose. They were not in the bag with each individual light. They were loose in the box. I had to find them and figure out which ones went with which fixture. All in all I still like the look of the light fixture. I used to be an electrician and probably installed more than 2000 light fixtures in my life so this was not a major problem. However, I would consider it a large inconvenience for the average user who is going to install this, knowing that you have to take every single light fixture apart, take every single lightbulb out and verify that every single screw is tight in the bottom of the sockets, considering that I found every single socket to have one screw missing if not more and every single screw that was in there was loose I hope you find this information helpful ... show more

Reached out to the manufacturer they said they would send me a replacement but after that no response from their side. Haven't even received the replacement product. I have a few, different, "very bright" LED bulbs (cob-style, mostly, 350-400W equivalent). These are far more convenient than the others I have purchased. The hinged arms are surprisingly effective at ensuring the room is *completely* lit. They're ... just ... bright. I tell the kids to "turn on the sun" and they know to hit the second light switch in the basement that controls the fixture with two of these installed. You really don't want to look right at it. Measure first. They're taller than a standard bulb and (obviously) much wider. The hinged arms allowed it to fit well in every floor fixture I've tried them in but sometimes resulted in the light being aimed non-ideally. I can't fault the product for that, though. The lights came in a 4 pk for the price that big box is selling 2 for which to me is a great value. They look great on my house the size is just right. I wish they were motion detection. Just installed them today so don’t know the durability yet. But so far I would order them again.

The wall lights come in a box without any protection like foam or anything to protect them for getting damaged and when I opened my package two of my lights were damaged on the side like if they were squished.
