What I love is that I didn't have to buy a special light bulb for this because it came with it's very own LED lightbulb which was really nice. The other thing that I love is how modern this lamp looks. From the outside, it looks just like a regular lamp but the features on this is a lot better than a traditional lamp. The lamp itself was really easy to put together. What I thought was really convenient is that to turn it on, there is a pedal on the bottom so I just push it with my foot and I'm able to turn it on and off. Rather than having to worry about making sure I can reach the lamp, I no longer have to. The remote is extremely helpful as well. I'm able to change the colors from either a soft white or bright white or just change the color to blue if I want to. I did notice that the app is what is really convenient because there are so many more different settings that allow me to control when the lamp comes on and off too. ... show more

I had no idea this lamp was going to be as nice as it is. First, I'm very pleased with its petite style, which was what attracted me to it initially. Assembly was very simple. The rods are threaded so essentially it just screws together. and remains sturdy. After you install the app, control from your smartphone is easy. The smart bulb can shine in every color of the spectrum. Place it on warm light, bright light, and strobe light; the possibilities are infinite. Plan on having this for a long time! ... show more

    • I Have a Love-Hate Relationship With This Lamp
I have a love-hate relationship with this lamp. It has a modern minimalist vibe which I like, it gets almost as bright as I want it to, I can use my phone to control it, but the remote that comes with it is the worst. I have tried everything to get the remote to talk to the lamp (and sometimes it does) but success is so spotty I've relegated the remote pile of remotes I don't use anymore. Enough about the remote. I hope you have better luck than I had. This lamp will fit just about anywhere physically, but you'll have to keep the vibe modern around it or it will certainly be out of place. Because the bulb that comes with it is multi-colored and dimmable, you can produce nearly any lighting mood you want to. The app that you'll have to download has some tricks up its sleeve such a strobe effects, gradual change effects, and many others that you can create and use in the app. Other than it was super-easy to assemble, there is really not else to say except that I hope the bulb lasts a along time, because my luck with networked LED bulbs has not been good. ... show more

I like the modern industrial look of the lamp, and I would like it even without all the additional features. With that said, what makes this lamp standout more are the amount of features this lamp has included with the RGBWW bulb. It would take a very long time to try everything out especially since it uses a RGBWW bulb so has 16 million colors and 20 lighting affects you can use. First of all, it was very easy to install the lamp since it was basically just screwing 4 metal rods together, putting the light shade on, and putting in the bulb. It is very sturdy and I have no concerns with it tipping over. The linen shade looks great as well. One thing I really liked about the lamp was that it has a pedal switch that you press down with your foot to turn the light on or off. It is a lot easier than searching on a cord or on the lamp pole itself trying to find the on/off switch. I did struggle at first getting it to pair with the remote control, but every other method it has that you can pair with was easy to do. To be honest, the remote control was the hardest thing to figure out and use anyways since it didnโ€™t really come with instructions for what buttons affect what. The option I liked to use the most and the one that was the easiest for me to understand was the mobile app. It has numerous modes including mic, music, and cinema mode but one of the features I liked the best was the camera mode. You can point it at anything (i.e. wall, shirt, picture, etc.), hit capture color, and the light itself will change to that color. I also really enjoy the candle mode and the flickering effect which I find really soothing. Even within the candle mode, you have a lot of different options. You can adjust strength (low, medium, high), brightness, speed of the flickering, and what color you want to use for the light. You also have the ability on the light to set timers, delays, etc. Overall, this light is stylish and has so many features that it could really fit any setting or decor. If you want the ability to change the ambiance for any mood or room then I highly suggest giving this a shot. ... show more

Nice lamp. I like that I am able to pair it to my Google Home setup (via the required downloadable app). Assembly was a breeze with no tools needed. Cord is nice and long and includes a foot switch as well as a remote. A good value for the price.
