I've had this light for a few months now. I really don't use the RGB colors. But I love how you can switch between bright white and a soft white depending on what you're doing in the room. Installation was easy and the remote seems solid. I would purchase this again if it was needed.

We installed this in our office space. Even though it's plastic, it feels really sturdy and well-made. It's really good value for the price and comes with extra features! If you don't mind using a controller for it, then you SHOULD buy it! - Installation: Some people in the reviews said they had a hard time installing it because it was a tight fit and close to the ceiling, but we installed it into our popcorn ceiling without any issues. The hardest part of the installation was keeping your arms up long enough to add the nuts to the wires and hold the light at the same time. We were able to install it in about 20 minutes and could probably be installed by one person as long as you keep your tools close. - RGB: I like that you can use it with the main light on or off. It creates a really cool atmosphere in the room because it makes the ceiling glow and bounces off the tops of the walls! The only thing is that it has a limited color choice that you have to cycle through one by one. Wish there were more colors, but it is exactly what they advertised... Luckily when you turn off the light it turns back on to the RGB you had last loaded. - Brightness: This one light can light up our entire 11'x11' room easily. I like the different color temperatures and brightness controls. Sometimes you don't want it super bright in the room or pure daylight, so it's perfect for having the light adjust to your mood. I also like that the RBG is unaffected by the brightness controls. The "nightlight" mode is perfect for when I need to wake up to go to work at 6 (I work from home) and not burn my eyes out when I come into the office first thing in the morning! The only thing I wish was that it was a smart product that you could control with your assistants or app. We just keep the controller by the door and leave it there whenever we change it so we don't lose it. ... show more

Impressive product. Except the only way to control the settings is with the included remote control, which stopped working for me after a few months. Seller was very responsive and offered refund, but I'm currently working with them to troubleshoot with a new remote because I really like the light.

Its very light weight and nearly flat to the ceiling. There are many light adjustment options and it's very bright. WATCH OUT for the screw slots when installing, they are smaller than needed for the standard screw size for fixture installations. I still recommend the light, if you have a drill with screw fitting drill bits. I gently adjusted the size of the screw hole opening as the fixture material feels a bit flimsy and was easy to manipulate. ... show more
