This device is so cool! I got the black (transparent-ish) and it feels pretty solid overall, nice in your hand, buttons feel and respond well, closes well with a satisfying click.. this thing is fantastic! I ended up returning it because the pre-loaded SD card did not have any NES games, which I thought it did. I don’t have a computer to upload my own games for the handheld, so I returned it as it was a gift for my son who wanted the old Zelda games. I almost kept it for myself!

Its a really cool device and I actually don’t mind the clicky buttons. Just disappointed there were no GBA GBC games like advertised. Sure I can do the extra work of adding them but was looking forward to playing those specifically when it arrived and not having to do that work.

I own all the ones I'm playing and even have the original systems, but how expensive those are as "collectible" items makes me scared to hand them over to my kids, haha. This is a much more reasonable alternative to show my kids my old favorites and play them again myself. Was surprised at everything included! I bought an additional memory card with plans to wipe the OS, but ended up leaving it and just throwing some romhacks onto the second SD card so I could pull it in and out as needed to add new ones. Just plugged in the blank microsd I bought to the second slot, let the machine run, then took it out and the folder structure was all there. So far so good! Bright screen, a lot of options for configuration, and I'm playing some of my favorite old games plus new ones people have built with the pieces. Ordering a couple more for my kids and husband so we can play together :)

I flashed this device with Knulli (custom firmware) and it's fantastic. The stock OS works fine, and the unit is wonderful. The buttons might be a bit loud for some, but they're fine. Seems to run up to Dreamcast titles without issues.
