A few included roms don't work or are not in English, but the roms are easily replaced. But at this price I won't remove a star for that. The screen is big and bright, the controls work, and it feels great to play games on this. Highly recommend for the price. Just, remember to save your game state when you finish playing in case the battery drains. The sleep mode is power hungry compared to a switch or ds and will not last 24 hours. Our son (25) got this from his girlfriend for Christmas. He travels a lot for work and she hoped this would give him some fun. Let me tell you, this isn’t just for like 10 year olds! He played with this thing for HOURS AND HOURS that day. Never set it down! It’s smaller than I expected yet he didn’t complain. He was excited to see all the games; some he’d never heard of and some that he had back when he had a Nintendo game boy! It was worth the $70 just with how many hours he was on it the first day. I’ve played around with the RG35XX for a few hours now and I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m glad that you’re able to favorite games so you don’t need to look through a ton of pages every time you want to play a game. I also like the search feature. The screen is very bright and crisp too! All of the games I’ve played so far have worked well with no issues. However, there are a few games that I was surprised are not included. There are zero Mario games installed, no NES Zelda, and the PS1 library is a little limited (really bummed about Ape Escape not being included.) Overall, it’s a really good little handheld emulator for people like me who don’t want to deal with installing a bunch of ROMs. ... show more

The Display looks amazing! Super easy to start using, comes with a lot of games as others have said no mario at all and most games are pretty useless but you can always put your own roms, recommend a nice reputable micro SD saw a video where someone received a corrupted card out the box but all these devices come with bad SD cards, buttons feel great perfect for retro gaming Pokémon Zelda etc, Garlic OS is what makes the experience as without it there isn't much for customization or settings either, would support black seraph as the gaming experience is much better especially for Playstation as not all games will run on stock firmware. The dpad issue is not horrific as some people say it Is there but not unbearable or even too annoying in most games, will try the dpad tape mod and update if it fixed it. Overall too good of a value with it being easily pocketable, good build quality and getting it from the website is even better of a deal. Might have to get a second one in purple.. ... show more

Owned for 6 months. Played periodically on trips. Randomly decides to stop working one day. Powered on but would not load OS. Charged to full and seemed fine. Went on my trip, pulled it out and once again won't load OS. Y'all suck, can't even make a simple device work properly. Don't with this junk, 2nd RGxxxx whatever device that was janky trash. Was really surprised how many different games are on this system. I’ve purchased crappy ones before and you go through the game list and it’s always repeating the same games as if it were more games when scrolling. This system is a lot of fun. After months of use battery is still great all buttons work and I love it. Some things I’ve noticed a few games don’t work and some color games are in black and white but that’s not a issue because you can download the right roms and good to go.
