I haven't used this directly on my scalp, but I have used it on my hair. My hair tends to be on the dry side. This oil gives it some added hydration that makes it look healthier. I use it sparingly so it doesn't weigh my hair down. I use more on my ends as my hair gets more unhealthy towards the ends. It contains a variety of oils including jojoba, olive, and coconut oils. It smells nice. I really appreciate that this is a cruelty free and vegan friendly product.

This is my first time using pre wash rinse and I find it very interesting. So I have some dry patches on my scalp and my hair ends always get tangled no matter how much conditioner I use. This product really helped to tame my ends! And my white patches are less noticable. I think it'll definitely help clearing them up in a long run. Really good product

I just took out some faux locs (I braid them in like individuals) and had a ton of build-up. I usually use watered-down apple cider vinegar (ACV) or watered-down conditioner to help work out the build-up. This pre-wash has ACV but the scent isn’t nearly as strong as the mix I use (a plus, I can’t stand the smell). With that being said, it doesn’t break up build-up as well as a mix of water and ACV, but this pre-wash helped retain moisture better. It’s oily, which helps with slip and detangling much better than the ACV or conditioner pre-washes I’ve used. I like the pointed applicator bottle, it makes it easy to target where I need the product and reach my scalp. I wish it had a top to cap it off, I knocked it over a few times in the shower.
