I just love this little fridge! I have been recovering from a nasty fall down the stairs, and since the bathrooms and my adjustable bed are upstairs, the only thing I really needed to go downstairs was the kitchen. And I can't do it. I live alone, so I needd a solution. I found it in a retro small microwave, (it has little feet, so cute!)and this little guy! Love love the color, I wish I could find a full size this color for the kitchen, if I could afford it, I'd buy it! I'm looking. This one is new, so I hope it will give me years of service and with 3 shelves as well as door bins, I can stock it with three days worth of lunches and breakfasts, and milk and 2 liter soda bottles. This little thing is adorable!It's not a common color, so I had to mix the colors of the microwave and coffee maker, and electric skillet to a nice blend of blues, greens and teals . When I get the rooms painted, it's going to look great and be a very satisfying environment while I'm down. Oh, it is not heavy at all, I was pleasantly surprised, but I hope that's not a bad thing. It's very light, but it's cold for now. If it lasts 3 or 4 years, it will have been money well spent. EDIT: As fate would have it, just days after I got it upstairs and running, my kitchen fridge, a French door oversize monster, completely quit. I discovered it when I had my bi-weekly grocery delivery and went to put $300 of frozen goods away, finding the entire thing was room temperature. I packed that little blue mini fridge as full as I could get it, turned the temperature setting all the way up, and managed to freeze both compartments! SAVED! I read some reviews on this fridge, and there are several complaints about the lower compartment freezing. But all they have to do is turn that dial inside to a lower setting, like between 5 and 6. No, this item is not performing well. It came with a small dent on the right side which I just accepted. It is OK and it shouldn’t have. It does not get very cold. Definitely look at other options before you buy this one. I don’t think it would be satisfied to use it as a drink cooler, which is what I wanted it for. The freezer does work if you have a bag of ice, it will keep in frozen that the refrigeration part will not even keep cans of soda very cold. Works fine. Freezer got cold quickly. Refrigerator section took a while but we have to leave it on 6 (7 is max cold) for it to be cold enough. Good price. Cheaper than a good cooler and you dont have to buy ice! Only problem is the color. Sent me a blue one when I ordered mint green to match other retro appliances I have in my camper. Really bummed about it. Could have sent it back but we really needed to use it the weekend it arrived. They gave us about 35. dollars back for their mistake, but I'm still disappointed. ... show more
