- FEATURES: The aluminum (AL) body provides safety and durability. The bed cover panel consists of a standing seam AL slats system that provides seams that are virtually impenetrable to both knives and rain. The built-in cover lock makes it difficult to open the cover without permission. The cover's integrated sealing and drainage system keeps the bed and cargo sealed and dry in all-weather conditions, protecting against UV, dust, rain, snow, etc. This is true even when the truck is washed.
- HARDWARE: The cover panel is mainly made of aluminum slats, 2 aluminum side rails, and an aluminum canister with a built-in tension control of adjustment and drainage system.The aluminum canister is also used to store the slats when the cover is retracted.
- APPEARANCE: The aluminum body cover sits almost flush with your truck bed and can support up to 600 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The truck tonneau cover is dark matte powder-coated to protect it from rough scratches, marks, and corrosion. In case you accidentally open the pickup tonneau covers while driving, it will not affect safe driving unlike the tri-fold trucks tonneau cover. With the Flowkottu tonneau cover, these unnecessary issues are eliminated. The canister anti-collision accessories can effectively prevent goods and other items from hitting the canister, thus preventing the cover from failing to retract. The handle anti-collision accessories protect the cover and tailgate from damage during use. Rubber strips and brushes prevent debris from entering the drainage system. The nut caps on the cover plate better protect the cover plate bolts from rust, corrosion, and other damage, thus improving their service life. With 4 drain pipelines and 2 drain outlets, they work together to prevent poor drainage. On certain truck models, holes need to be drilled for the drainage tubes. Seal sponge and rubber strip fittings are installed at the bed bulk head. Seal sponge and rubber strip fittings are installed at the 2 bed rails. Seal rubber strip fittings are installed on the tailgate. The lock cap prevents the lock cylinder from becoming inoperable due to snow and freezing temperatures. The sealing cover of the aluminum slat is thicker and larger than slat. The surface of the slat don't rub when the cover is retracted.

Great Cover and Nice Looking - MPG Went UP

The bed cover was nicely packaged. The parts were in a bag and were clearly labeled. The parts and the cover itself look and felt of good quality. I have a 2022 Ram Rebel. After getting the bed cover installed, I realized, it so much easier than the manual instructions. I watched the video that's listed on the amazon website for this bed cover, and it helped a lot. That video pretty much shows you all you need to do to get it installed. The hardest part of the install was installing the Cover cabin because the screws and the holes were not aligning. There was not much slack to move it around. So, the trick is not to position the cover all the way to the back window of the truck, leave a lot of space so you can install the cover cabin from the front. Then install the 3 screws per side, then you can slide everything into the correct spot i.e. back window. Some of you may not have this issue depending on your truck. After installing everything, I was able to function test without any issues. You can lock the bed cover without a key and I prefer to leave it unlock because the truck tailgate will be locked and the only way to open the bed cover is to first unlock the tailgate. So I guess, locking it with the key is a secondary security. The only issue I see is if you didn’t lock the cover all the way and you’re driving and it opens up. I also took it to the car wash and after, there was a little bit of water at the tailgate area. This is no big deal for me,‘because the car wash I use has the strongest pressure water spray I’ve ever seen lol, but normal rain will not get in. I took a for test drive for a day and it held strong, no rattle and it was as if there was no bed cover at all. I'm still monitoring my MPG but so far, it doesn't seem to have any effect. Overall, I highly recommend this cover. Update as of March 2026: So far the bed has been holding up pretty good. An important tip: clean the drain once a year. These are the drain under the base of the bed that’s at the front, basically the section that the bed folds to. Underneath there is the drain. You will have to remove the 3 screws on each side that holds the bed, remove the black drainage thing, clean the drain with a wire. Then test it, get a bucket of water or run a hose and make sure it’s draining. This seems to be a butt but once you do it once, it’s really easy and still makes this bed worth it. If you live in a dry area, then I wouldn’t worry about this unless, you need there’s a lot of dirt and debris that might cloak up the drain. I only noticed it was draining when it was raining season. Once you do that, the bed will stay dry always. Update as of Jan 2025: Unable to Unlock: If you run into this situation, i.e. it seems you are unable to unlock, meaning if you try to pull the unlocking rope to the right, you don't hear the clicking sound and it seems it will break if you keep pulling to the right, then go to the company's website and it shows a video how to unlock it. Basically, you use your key and rotate the clockwise so the key hole is horizontal. Then, use the bed handle and pull the bed back i.e. towards the rear/you and hold it. Without letting go, press the key hole down (you might have to push it hard down), then it should slide back, or just push it back. I've only run into this unable to unlock twice. First was the first time I got it (June 2024) and now (Jan 2025). I'm not sure what caused it to get stuck but it was very cold. Update as of Aug 2024: My MPG went up. I’m averaging anywhere from 16 on regular driving. And around 17.5 to 18 when driving long distance trips. The highest I’ve seen is 18.7.

Looks great. Installation was miserable, or at least the part where you attach the side rails to the main piece. The instructions for that part were trash. They also have a QR code for a YouTube video help and it was only slightly better. If you use the video just be sure to watch it all the way through first. The guy does the steps in the wrong order and had to redo a section in the video…but he didn’t just fix the video. The rest of the installation wasn’t terrible and just took time. It looks great and functions very well.

I really like how it looks, it’s actually super easy to install but, instructions do suck, they are horrible. I would give it a 5 star if was not because of the instructions. Took me about an 1 hour to figure it out after that it was super simple. Predict is good, looks great and sturdy

I have had this for almost a year now. The instructions took a bit to figure out at first, but then it turned out to be easier than it seemed. I installed the two side pieces then installed it onto the bed. I was pretty careful to square up the sides to the bed and roller section which has allowed the cover to retract smoothly. I took heed to previous reviews and I am careful with the release lever to move it to the unlock position and back to the middle lock position (where it locks to each partial open or full closed latch point) and it has been perfectly fine. I open this several times per week so I'd say it has held up pretty good. Can not complain one bit for the price. And it is actually better than a back-flip (style and brand) that cost twice as much. I don't care for the logo being sort of goofy sounding and so pronounced, but then never removed that because they did after all make a good product.

Secure, high quality transformed our truck

This cover has transformed our truck. The installation was easy and the video instructions very clear. The quality of all the components is very high. Provides sturdy base and security. All the seals are tight and with the drainage connections expect to remain completely dry. Took me a while to figure out the lock but that was user error. There is a video which explains how to operate which again was great. Highly recommend and very happy.

COVER DOES NOT HOLD OUT ANY OF THE WEATHER

I have had this on my truck since Jun2025. I work in home security and I used to store everything in my bed, the first hard rain, this cover completely failed. It was as if there wasn't a cover on the truck. Every item was soaked, tools ruined, and just about $400,000 of product and tools destroyed. I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST PURCHASING THIS COVER!! IT DOES NOT WORK! It doesn't stay in place, it's always sliding back and forth. I have Every bracket as tight as I can get it and it fails every single time it rains or snow. I also have so much water in the canister. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS COVER, especially if you carry anything of value in the bed of your truck.
