I bought this particular pedal resistor because it looked stronger than other models. It arrived and while its easy to assemble it just does not feel safe. I went with the "metal hook" version for connecting the pulls but if the pulls break, there could be serious injury of getting hit with the metal hook. The materials seem cheap, wouldn't rely on this to last long if it was used with intensity. I did try it starting with 1 pull and then continually adding a pull until I reached the 4 level. I'm also not long enough for this to give a good "pull". I'm 5' 2". I'm sure it works for a lot of people. Just be careful and periodially check the condition of the pulls.

Let's delve into the specifics to get a better grasp of this workout equipment. First, I want to highlight that I already own a similar tube exercise device, and I must admit that the materials, design, and overall construction of this set are superior. The build quality is evident, which is always a positive sign. Nonetheless, there's a significant issue that warrants attention – the resistance level. The packaging boldly claims a total resistance of 100 lbs (25 lbs per band, four bands in total). However, in practice, these bands fall significantly short of delivering the advertised level of resistance. To provide some context, I can comfortably complete 10 curls with all four bands attached. While there is resistance, it's nowhere near the challenge I'd face with a 50 lb dumbbell for the same number of reps or more. So, if you're seeking the high level of resistance touted in the advertisements, you might find yourself disappointed. When it comes to size and usability, these bands come with their own set of limitations. They stretch considerably; as a 6'2" individual, using the feet attachments for a row extends the bands to my upper chest level. Also, anticipate going barefoot or using socks because the foot straps are small and non-adjustable. They are comfortable, but it would be more convenient to exercise in shoes. For those with larger frames, it's worth noting that both the single handle and unilateral handles could benefit from being longer to ensure proper form, a comfortable fit, and grip. Nonetheless, the existing handles get the job done and are functional. In summary, this Resistance Bands set offers a practical option for home or travel workouts, and you can still achieve a satisfying pump and workout. However, it's essential to manage your expectations regarding the resistance level. This factor significantly influenced my decision to get this set, and for this reason, I'd rate it at 3.5 stars.
