A perfect replacement for Honeywell gas control valve on my Whirlpool water heater . The compatibility table in the product image proved accurate. You'll want some teflon tape for the threads entering the water heater, and some gas pipe sealant for the gas line pipe. My Honeywell valve was giving me the 2 blink error code, and I tried replacing the thermopile first. That didn't fix it, so I continued with replacing this valve assembly. We have had problems with this going out on our new water heater. Bought these and have worked for much longer than originals! Worth the buy and reasonably priced!

OEM with red light was unreliable from day 1. This unit with the white led, has never shut down. Install was simple, just remove old unit assembly and swap directly..
