This has been my go to filament for a while now. It is strong enough and prints well and is consistent. Some of the older reviews talk about quality control or inconsistency issues. I am not sure if this WAS an issue before or if it was a printer issue with the users, not sure. I have been using it flawlessly every time on my Prusa MK4S. However, one of the big reasons I really like this filament, particularly in white, is that is is more translucent than other brands. I use it to print illuminated designs because LED strips will shine through it when printed thin. I used it to print an inlay into a black 3D print with this filament and it came out awesome. It keeps its accuracy enough to do it and passes enough light.

I've used some RepRapper PLA filament in the past with zero issues, so when this PETG came up, I picked up a roll. Printed quite easily, no clogs / stringing / etc. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Do not buy, you will have all kinds of issues. Yes it is PVB but go buy a different brand that understand how to monitor quality of their products. I have had multiple rolls of this filament fail for various reasons. Some rolls just aren't within tolerance and will occasionally be too wide to pass through printer parts. One roll had filament that was flaking and stringing off the strand and clogging up my filament run out sensors. One of my prints failed after 40+ hours of printing because of a solid chunk of something that was not filament embedded in the strand. It got stuck in the gearing and filament wasn't flowing. How does a solid chunk of random material embedded in the filament pass quality control? This is unacceptable. I had a print fail this morning after 100+ hours at 98% completion because of out of spec tolerances. I have tested this filament in more than 5 printers and while I still have several rolls left I really don't want to use them because of all these issues. Too bad I'm past the return window because now I have several rolls of filament that I don't want to use. Maybe I'll melt them down and re-extrude them to spec lmao but I shouldn't have to do that. Oh and because Amazon wants me to review print adhesion I recommend printing on glass. You may need glue for support structures. This stuff warps like crazy on PEI sheets. Oh and this stuff is messy. PLA prints nice and clean and this stuff is stringy even with the best slicer settings and most careful calibration. You should expect bits of plastic everywhere and need to do some post processing to remove burrs and random plastic bits. All I can say is good luck if you get this, you're better off spending a bit more on a product that values quality control.

Let me tell ya about reprapper mpla. Its amazing!! Seriously!! I've tried other brands and reprapper is my GO TO when printing ANYTHING with consistency and detail. I printed a onewheel stand with reprapper brand MPLA otherwise known in other brands as modified pla or pla+. ZERO stringing, excellent layer adhesion and holds up to heat much better than other brands of pla/pla+ its like printing with PETG without the headaches. I have tried 3d solutech, overture, hatchbox and this is comparable in a league closely matched to prusament at 1/3 the cost I ran out of solutech pla in the middle of a print and finished it with reprapper and besides the shade of color, nobody would be any the wiser. If you want strength in your PLA prints that will hold up a little better to heat, this is the choice to go with vs the other filament offered in Amazon. Reprapper is amazing with standing behind their product and is ALWAYS happy to offer troubleshooting when you message them. Attached is a photo of a print I did in reprapper modified pla. I used a 0.6mm nozzle, 220c nozzle temp, 55c bed temp, 50mm/s speed on a creality cr-10 v3 printer. If you have issues with their filament, be sure to go over your settings. I have went through over 150 rolls with minimal issues mostly being user issues. Please note.. I dont take the time to write reviews. Its not worth my time. Im just this impressed with the quality filament. Hopefully this recommend helps others in deciding on good filament. Thanks again for the quality filament!!! - paul

This filament is strong and prints very well. I bought the 3kg spool due to amount black pla I use. It is a very versatile color and material. I wanted to by one spool to outlast them all. The spool is tangled out of the box, maybe due to the size, things happen. It prints amazing, surprisingly because the consistency and precision of the filament diameter is not closely watched. The spool has jammed on me multiple times due partly to the imperfections, and due to the bulky nature of the spool. The filament spool also has a smaller diameter center hole, which does not fit the average filament holder. I have the spool feeding smoothly but it continues to jam due to the earlier stated imperfections in the diameter. It seriously looks like it was spooled by one of the Marx brothers. Good filament, but pain in the backside. Returning as soon as can be arranged.
