Description

Replacement Canvas for Teeter Inversion Tables - Rectangle - Black Please note: Some early feedback said the canvas was tight and hard to put on. The size was adjusted and is no longer an issue. If soaked in hot water for 5-10 minutes it is easy to slip on and dries tight like a drum.

  • Great fit.
Great replacement, fits well and very easy to install.

  • perfect fit - easy installation - excellent results
I used the “soak in hot water for 10 minutes” method - very simple. The most difficult part of this job was moving the unit outdoors for the 2 hour drip-dry time. I removed the leg-post from the unit before mounting the wet cover for better access. Keep all the cover straps loose until the cover is fully dry - then tighten. Straps will need additional tightening after initial use due to stretching. Perfect results - highly recommended! ... show more

  • Just like the original Teeter canvas (but without the logo)
This replacement canvas is great! I finally got time to replace my worn out first generation Teeter HangUp canvas today after receiving the replacement about two months ago. I was skeptical and prepared to order a new one. But I followed the included directions, soaked it in a bathtub half filled with only hot water for about 20 minutes. I also took someone else's advise that I read and used latex gloves to protect my hands. They also helped me grip the wet material to pull it down tight on the frame. It went on surprisingly easy! After tightening the straps, I set it out on the patio to air dry. It's reassembled, has a perfect fit and looks good. It felt great to be able to use my Teeter HangUp again! THANKS! ... show more

  • Perfect replacement cover
Fits perfectly and appears identical in quality to the original. The black actually looks better than the blue one it came with. Heed the suggestion in the instructions to soak it in hot water for 10 minutes; it works. Yes, a big strong guy could stretch it dry over the framework, but why would you want to put unnecessary strain on the seams? I soaked it, slid it over the frame very easily, tightened it up, and when it dried it was "as tight as a drum" as promised. Seems a bit pricey, but our Teeter is as good as new now. ... show more

  • Be sure to soak in water prior to installation.
My inversion table is very old but has served me well. Eventually the nylon fabric began to fray (it was probably more than thirty years old). I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could order a replacement but was curious if it would fit. Special note: be sure to soak the fabric in water (I used warm water in the bathtub). I tried installing it first without soaking it and it was essentially impossible because it fit much too tightly. Once I soaked it for fifteen minutes and then shook off the excess water, it installed quite well! After installing, I let it dry, as instructed. It was a perfect fit! It tightened up perfectly as it dried. It will now undoubtedly last longer than my old body. ... show more

  • Easy to replace, fits great
Needed a new cover. Our original cover ripped and shredded over time, this cover came with clear instructions. Wetting the material before placing over the table helped with installation though I was skeptical about wetting the cover. This worked perfectly. Cover stretched and dried easily into place. ... show more

  • Fits and works great
Fits my old hang up and works great. It was hard for me to install so I got help. Someone who is more mechanically inclined did it easily. Be sure to get it wet first. This appears to be an off market replacement. There is no logo. However the original hangups company does not seem to have a replacement available. So this is fantastic. ... show more

  • Lube the tube? Worked for me!
After reading reviews, I was apprehensive about ordering this, but I knew I could return it if it didn't work for me. My inversion table is a different brand, but the dimensions were close. This thing almost kicked my butt! Putting it on was a total body workout! I had muscle fatigue all over my body when I was done. I know that if I hadn't succeeded the first try, there was no way I was going to try it again...I was exhausted! The cover is good quality, and fits tighter than a drum. I withheld one star because I figure with the straps, they could afford to make the cover a tiny bit larger and therefore easier to install. Here is the method I used; I hope it might help someone. I removed the table frame from the A-frame after some trouble with one of the bolts..there is no way I would have been able to get the new cover on, otherwise. This also allowed me to take the frame to the bathroom where I was able to work on top of a bath mat and didn't have to carry a dripping wet cover through the house. Afterward, I realized I didn't need to remove the bolts (Doh!) and wished I had taken a picture of the assembly BEFORE I took it apart. I soaked the cover in the bathtub for about 20 minutes in the hottest water I could get. I used rubber cleaning gloves to keep from scalding my hands, and kept them on for the whole process. While the cover was soaking, I removed the old cover, and cleaned the frame with a rag and spray cleaner. I then put a little bit of petroleum jelly on the frame. There might be a better product for this purpose, but my choices were petroleum jelly and WD-40; I figured WD-40 would be messier. I followed the instructions from there, gripping and pulling the sides of the cover from the top down, multiple times. There was a moment while putting on the last corner that I thought it just wasn't going to go, but I just kept rolling the edge over the tubular frame, like revving a motorcycle throttle, and it worked. So, my tips are: Remove the table frame from the rest of the machine, but don't disassemble anything you don't have to. If you DO have to disassemble anything, take a picture first so you can remember how to reassemble it later. Soak, soak, soak the cover...don't skip this step! Wear rubber gloves; they protect your hands from the hot water, and I believe they improved my grip during the installation. Lubricate the frame! I have no way of knowing that this helped for sure, but it certainly didn't hurt. Follow the instructions for repeatedly pulling down the sides and rolling it over the end. ... show more
