While the plastic is not as thick or durable as the original, these get the job done at a much lower price. The lids are different in design, with the cap being slightly better than the original. On the original, the cap's hinges wear out quickly as the small tabs end up breaking off after a couple of months of use. The caps on these were designed much better and will certainly last a lot longer, but they do leak if held upside down, not major but minor seepage gets through, unlike the original cap. Overall these are worth saving a few bucks versus buying from the OEM. ... show more

While these cups technically fit my Ninja (Model AMZ493BRN), I have to screw the lid on extra tight, then press down very hard to get it to turn into the locked position. Afterwards, of course, it takes a lot of effort to get the lid off again. The cup that came with my machine wasn't nearly as much work! Also, it might be my imagination, but I think the machine runs even louder with these cups than it did with the original. ... show more
