Pros: The system overall is very good. The quality and functionality for the price you pay. Desktop and mobile applications available. Can access the NVR over the network. Different types of alerting settings for pets, people and vehicles. You can adjust and customize what kind of events you want to get push notifications on your app. LED light on camera switches on and night when detection is identified which is also good. It's a kind of a soft reminder to a strangers that they are recorded. The most diffcult part in the setup is running the LAN cables. I ran mine thgouth the atic, so it's solid setup. Plug in and forgot about it. Cons: One of my cameras had a black dot on the sensor which obscuring part of viewport. My first guess that it's some dirt on the lense, but upon checking it, it was not. It was something inside of the camera. I have found warranty support request form on Reolink website. Completed everything, attached the screnshots with confirmation on the issue. One week after - no reply. Then I have contected them over live chat assistant. I had to wait 40 minutes while life agent joined the chat. When agent joined, she started to ask bunch of questions about my system, like what is my system, model, type and so on. Then asked the firmware version of device, I shared and told that it's up to date. Then asked me to go and connect the physical monitor to NVR to tell the firmware version for the problematic camera. I did. She asked to update the firmware. I knew it will not help, but anyway, I did this. Then she asked to reload and reset cameras. I did. The she told me to install the camera to a different location. WTF????? How does that suppose to help??? It took more than an hour for all those not needed movements, because it was clearly a faulty camera! Then I told that it does not make sense, and she asked to send the Amazon Invoice. After another 10 minutes of so she told me that my request was forwarded to the Senior Technician for further resolution. That is insance... how the technicial can fix the faulty hardware I don't know but it is what it is.. still not over. I expected this to be a simple one camera return and replacement. But it's not... Will post the updates. UPDATE: The technician offered the replacement. They have sent a little bit newer camera, because 1200 model was not on stock. From the shipment of broken camera back to replacement received took almost a week. New camera works good and finally the system is all set and working great. ... show more

I purchased the reolink 12mp 4 camera poe nvr and i absolutely love it so far. The picture is amazing. I have bought and used many camera systems in my time and i can honestly say this is the first time a company has claimed good night vision and actually been true to their word. im still blown away with how much i can see in the night without the use of lights or even the IR on. The one and only thing i wish was different and it may be my method of monitor useage, is the very slight delay in the video feed. Its very minimal but its still noticable. Their may even be a setting or something i need to change..idk, but overall im extremely satisfied with this system. Definately worth spending the extra money to get a reolink product. Even the cameras themselves feel so much more of a higher quality than other brands... ... show more

Easy to setup, easy to operate. Advanced features where a bit frustrating to my way of thinking. Android app works well. I'm researching which WiFi battery powered cameras can be added to the NVR and trying to confirm which doorbell so I can finally have an integrated system. If Reolink would post a few more use cases (i.e. house, big lot with lots of critters human and non-human) it would speed me to making the additional purchases. As configured now, my cameras do not detect critters. I'm slowly playing with the settings to see how to fix that so I can retire my BLINKs. I will note that all of the REOLinks are 12' up and the Blinks are 4' up. That can have a huge impact on motion detection. The optional LIGHT ON is an excellent feature for out front. ... show more

Great product that is very user friendly. … plug camera in and see the images. Think hard before you position your cameras and drill holes to run wires. My house was under construction and a low voltage wiring company suggested the location of my cameras and I took his advice. This unit is very user friendly. Install is a piece of cake and comes with everything necessary to immediately put in action. I installed this at a commercial property to add a level of security. They work great with the phone app and I can get notices anytime something is picked up by the cameras. I can review video footage on my phone perfectly. I really like the lighted camera for nighttime. Anyone getting near them in a dark building would immediately know they are being recorded by the motion activated light that comes on. Buy them. So far so good. We used these to replace our old ADT cameras at our business and they are so much more clear. Really it's plug and play. Once everything is connected you open it up on a monitor and link the UID I believe it's called to the Reolink app and you'll be able to see it through your phone.

This is the 3rd surveillance system I've installed at my house in the last 10 years. The first was a DVR system with analog cameras. The 2nd system was a lower end NVR system that was an upgrade, but THIS Reolink system blow them both out of the water! First, the video quality is on par with watching a movie in HD. The Reolink app has so many useful functions, I'm still learning what they all do. The ability to filter the playback by human, vehicle, or animal is amazing. If I want to see greater detail (license plate) during live viewing, or playback, I can increase the resolution to get a clearer picture. I didn't realize how much of a deterrent the motion-activated spotlight was until I walked across my driveway at night and it lit everything up. Anyone within range will KNOW they are on camera! You can also increase the speed up to 16X to reduce playback review time. The 2TB hard drive holds 5 days worth of footage from 4 cameras. If this had been my 2nd system, there would have been no need for a 3rd! ... show more
