I am impressed with the ease of getting system set up and running and cameras are automatically recognized. Much easier than my old LaView system was. I still have to configure the settings on cameras. Have installed the computer app as well as mobile app and both are easy to use. I would like more functionality on the computer app as far as playback goes. I am happy with customer service. I sent them a question and they promptly replied with an answer.     • Great Value and Great Performance
Great system and cannot beat it for the value. Streaming is difficult, if not impossible without lowering the resolution but still better than systems costing multiples more. 6TB HDD more than doubles capacity and was simple to install. Just plug in and restart. Latest app also works great. Configuring was easy but some of the software settings and terminology could be made more clear to understand. This is the fourth system I have bought with bullet and dome style cameras. Watch for sales every couple weeks. I put in new systems at home and two businesses with one app to use and continuous recording for less than $5K all in with the extra 6TB hard disk drives and a couple cameras. Previous "name brand" PoE system for one business was inferior to this NVR and that system cost over $30K more only 8 years ago. Two of these systems worked great to replace our old 24 camera one. With the way the app is configured, they appear to be one big system, anyway. It took less than two days for two guys to remount the cameras and we got to reuse all previous cabling. Easy plug and play set up. Very good picture quality even at night. Color night vision is nice but I don't mind monochrome for several of my cameras where I would prefer the spot lights not to come on and it was simple to turn down the sensors for those cameras. Menu is basic and easy to use. I have a mixture of cameras with different resolutions and the all have good quality. 12MP, 8MP and 5MP currently with a 4K monitor. Easy to connect with the mobile app as well. The AI motion sensors for human, vehicle and animals take a bit of configuring to get them to work the way you want them to. I did a tremendous amount of research. It's difficult to find which system is right for your. But after having installed a system that had a horrible app experience and finally finding this system, I was very impressed. This system has a spotlight, the ability to record audio and have a two way talk feature, the picture quality is amazing and most importantly it is EXTREMELY intuitive!!     • Good moderately priced system, but lacks professional features.
It has been 5 months since I installed this system. For the money, it is a good system. I doubt the 12MP as advertised since it does not even come close to the clarity of my Dahau 8mp system. With that said, it is not a deal breaker. Use interface is a not complicated, but could use some updating. The Phone App is okay, again, not the best but it will do. I will say that it has run non stop with out any system hicups since installed.. Only other issue it that the cameras are proprietary so they are useless for any other brand but this unit. So three stars for overall good, but minus 2 for web interface and lack of detection features... ... show more

Lights continue to turn on and off installed 4 of the eight cameras , one had a constant white noise on play back and lights would turn on and off constantly for no reason. Two of them the lights dont come on and the forth had to have the lights turned of because they would turn on after each timed cycle. All the cameras recorded continually even though there was nothing to record. The dvr was absolutely a nightmare to navigate. ... show more

I like Reolink so much I decided to buy several NVR systems and their technical support is exceptional and responsive. I highly recommend them. Their cameras and software are very customizable and their cameras become great spotlights around your property.
