They really should have expanded the age range on this. I am 49 and I ordered it for me. I am a software engineer by trade and I am always about learning more and this will allow me to expand my knowledge on a different programming platform. And, on top of that, it’s Patriotic too. The robot was fun to put together and I have been playing with it for a while. I will be jumping on to the programming and what all I can do with it in the next few days. The connections were solid, and the instructions were pretty good. There are several different options that you can configure this in to so you’re not just limited to the one either. Some of the builds are easier than others. Be sure to review the instructions before you start as well.

This is a must for any STEM or building enthusiast! I got this for my 12 year old son and he was so excited when he looked at the box. As soon as I gave it to him he built the robot and has been playing with it since. He's dying to take it apart and make something else but doesn't really want to undo what he already worked so hard to make lol. It was easy for my son to build the robot - he said at times it was a bit challenging but he likes that. There are a lot of pieces but I think that makes it better and more detailed. Personally I think this is a must have for kids who are into this.

This is a rather comprehensive, complete and absolutely fun set! You'll want to make sure you prepare whoever is going to be using it for all of the options possible, it's definitely not for young children, but I know some of you adults will just keep it for yourself to play with! You can really expound your creative and mechanical juices playing with this, doing all different kinds of things you can think of! I mentioned it's a pretty complete set, but further to that, it's all pretty well made that it should provide you years of enjoyment and activities without concerns for it breaking!

My grandson likes to build challenging projects so I thought this would be good for him. He was so excited about it that he started to build it right away. There are many pieces to this kit and he has a choice of what he would like to build. It does have a remote and would have fun with it once it is finished. Good choice for someone who likes to build things
