I bought this for a combination of reasons, part of which my health. I have nearly an acre of land, some sloped or outright hilly. Those parts I can't do with my riding mower, and it's really difficult for me to do the hills with the self-propelled. I could have spent a fortune on a riding mower with a locking differential, but instead, I opted for Mowrator. I didn't want an automatic mower robot since my property is just not suited to that, so Mowrator was exactly what I was looking for. I bought the four-wheel drive model, with the standard tires, and 18Ah battery. I initially got it just for the worst parts of the property, but my riding mower crapped out around that same time (part of what triggered me to to finally order), so I ended up using it on the whole yard. I couldn't get it done entirely, certainly not the first time, but as I got more efficient in my mowing patterns, I could make the battery last longer and at least get the main areas done. I was pretty happy with that. I wish I could do the whole thing, but considering how sturdy Mowrator is, I'm kind of surprised it can do as much as it can. I mean, it's a full-sized lawnmower blade, not those little razor blades like a lot of the robot ones use. When I took it up onto the worst of the hills, I was able to get right down into the back side of some trees and bushes, where I would have normally been afraid I'd fall or slip down into them. Mowrator was able to handle it, even with the standard wheels. It was long grass and weeds, too. I was impressed. You just have to learn how to drive on the hills to handle any sliding. Mowing the yard used to be something I hated, since I would come inside afterward and get a bad headache that lasted the rest of the day. I don't know of it was the exertion or what. But not anymore. I've since ordered the beefier wheels as well, since the standard ones will dig into the ground a bit when trying to maneuver, and I do slide around some on the hills as well. I haven't put them on yet, but I'm excited to try them!

Works as described. I have a very steep and rough back yard and the mow quality is excellent. As good as when I mowed with my Honda mower. I would recommend this product, the only negative is that customer service is quite hard to get a hold of. Also if you do need or want the beefier tires they are quit expensive. Time will tell about durability, but build quality seems good.

Battery lasted very well. The blade took a beating as we have rocky soil & it could use a better fastener to attach to the motor shaft. I had to add a lock washer & thread sealant to keep it fastened. Easy to drive with the remote & safety sensors worked great. The wheels it comes with slip in sloped areas so I did order the optional wheels which are slightly better. So far it’s done a good job on grass weeds & blackberry shoots. It seems solidly built & has handled most everything I put it through. Be warned though that tight turns tend to dig up the soil and for a nice even lawn without steep slopes the 2 wheel drive model might be all you need.

Prob the best mower ever! Heavy Duty! Great Remote! Climbs steep inclines without any issues. I was worried with it being all electric, but does as well as a gas engine and has easily a 2+ hour run time and my back yard is all on a slope.

I purchased this item little skeptical of the quality trust me when I say this is a very high quality piece of equipment. This is no toy. I am the owner of a fabrication shop, we only do high end products. As far as the company the best support I have seen in years. I had an issue with Amazon and shipping. This company actually called me and resolved the issue and it wasn’t there issue. I highly recommend purchasing from this company. I have the 4 Wheel drive model. It’s a work horse easy to operate and dose a fantastic job of mowing and mulching leaves People in my semi gated community are very impressed. I am hoping a neighbor will purchase a two wheel model so we can compare. Again this company is top notch. Purchase with full confidence

The media could not be loaded. i have about 4 acres of land: half an acre of 10 degree slopes, an acre of 10-15 degree slopes, and 2 acres from 15-25 degree slopes. we've flipped a ride mower on these hills in the past; its too sketchy to go back that route again. after a number of years doing it with just a string trimmer, finally decided to revisit a ride mower option in tge least for the 10 degree slopes - except our state just recently banned sales of all new gas powered lawn equipment (was eyeballing that john deer x350). eventually decided on the mowrator because it fits our needs: its battery powered, it can handle slopes well, and its remote so in the case of flipping, i'm not worried about bodily harm. out in the field, this things a beast! it handled all our slopes just fine, and definitely beats string trimming everything. it also tackled large fennel weeds without an issue. Overall very happy with the purchase and its performance. if i had flatter land, i wouldve gone a ride mower route, but for lands with higher angled slopes, this is definitely the right tool for it.
