I LOVE! i’ve been using this for months now. I have naturally curly hair, and the heating is amazing and i’m abkw to do my whole head in an hour and a half. the only downside is because it’s wide, it makes it a bit harder to reach the roots. Works well and heats up quickly with digital display of heat. Instructions guide you as to appropriate heat which was nice. But make sure you lock the temperature setting after setting it because the control buttons are where you place your hand to straighten your hair and if you don't lock your temperature setting, it adjusts it by accident. You also have to unlock the temperature setting in order to turn the appliance button off. The beep tone for when the appliance heat is ready is a bit annoying if you are trying to be quiet when needing to style hair. ... show more

Love this flat iron. I have an old one I’ve been using for years and wanted to buy another one to keep at our cabin so I didn’t need to keep hauling it back and forth. I ordered the Remington Shine Therapy flat iron and honestly, I love it. Has adjustable temperatures to select. I like to use a lower temp to hopefully protect my hair a bit, and I am able to do that with this flat iron. It heats up in seconds, which I love. It has a nice smooth smoothing plate which is great for my hair. It will auto shut off if accidentally left on. No clue how long before it turns off though. Regardless, I love that safety feature. It does a great job on my hair. Full disclosure…I don’t have real curly hair. I have wavy and somewhat unkempt hair that requires some “polishing up”. Works great for me. This is an amazing product. I have used the same flat iron for years. I just decided to use a 1 inch flat iron instead of the 2 incher. This heats up immediately as opposed to waiting several minutes. I have a lot of wavy hair with flyaways. It used to take a number of passes with the old iron.
