What took me so long to search for a better solution? I was using a 1 inch product. This 2 inch straightener changed my life for the better. I read a review that it dramatically reduced the time spent straightening thick, long hair. It’s true! You only have to do a single slide per hair section because it can handle thick hair and it is super hot and remains super hot the whole time. The results are amazing, silky and shiny. My old 1 inch, I had to do multiple slides super slowly with sad results. Thank you Remington for making my life better.

So far this is a fantastic hair straightener. The magic of the infusion plates that it has, works amazing! My hair feels nice and soft without the burning smell that you get from certain hair straighteners. It heats up really quickly and you don’t even need to go to the highest setting to get things done. I have really curly hair and although in the picture I had partially blow dry it, it is still frizzy and dry. I haven’t timed it but it is definitely quicker to get my hair done with this straighter than my previous one. I put Color Wow Extra Strength Dream Coat on prior to using this and it has done wonders to survive the humidity and heat of Florida. My only negative thing is the position of the buttons on the handle could be better. I have pressed them on accident trying to grip the straighter and it causes your temperature to change. But since the straighter heats up quickly, it’s more of an inconvenience than a huge problem. Overall for the price and the results, I’m happy with my purchase.

A very nice flat iron. Heats incredibly fast and beeps when any change is made, either hotter or cooler. The buttons to turn on are on the side of the item. I had to adjust how I hold it as I kept hitting them by accident. Easy to figure out. Left hair sleek and smooth. No catching or pulling. Long cord that swivels easily. Can be locked closed too. Advisable to use a good leave on hair protectant for styling with heat. I wish the makers of all flat irons would make it more stable when you put it down.. they all tip over.. not a deal breaker at all. Very happy with this flat iron.. a great one at an affordable price. Addendum: the iron leaves hair very smooth and silky feeling that lasted two days.no frizz even in humid weather. So far, so good. Only improvement would be to put the conrol buttons in another place as it is hard to hold the iron without hitting them
