I am actually shocked at how amazing this straightener is! I have had multiple different straighteners and a lot of them cost me $100 and up and I always thought because they were expensive and a popular brand they were the best. I was wrong. I would choose this one out of any other straightener I have ever had! When you turn it on it heats up instantly and it beeps to let you know it’s ready. I have very thin/fine hair but it drys curly/frizzy and I live in Florida so the humidity makes it a constant struggle. After I wash my hair I either have to put a bunch of product in it to wear it curly or straighten it. There’s no air dry and go option for me. I usually wear it straight to avoid using all the extra product in my hair but I would always dread having to straighten it. Since I purchased this straightener I just added straightening my hair into my regular morning routine when I wash my face and brush my teeth and it only takes me an extra 5-10 mins at most. I can literally do it before I even have my coffee. It also doesn’t pull my hair out and after my hair is straight, shiny, and it doesn’t look frizzy at all! I can’t believe I only paid like $40 for this thing! I am telling everyone about it and I think I will buy another one just to have a back up because I can never go back! If you are like me and stress over having to do your hair please buy this because I am so mad I didn’t find it sooner. I actually look forward to doing my hair now because I know how quick and easy it’s going to be and I always have great results! 15/10 would recommend! This straightener makes my hair super smooth and shiny and I always style my hair in a blowout when I use it. I’ve noticed very little damage to my hair despite having used this thing all the time! Also heats up really fast and can get super hot! It also automatically turns off after about an hour which is safe, but also annoying because it turns off in the middle of me styling and I have to get it to heat up again. bought because it has good reviews and i my current one kept turning off on me. It's a good straightener it does what it's supposed to do and doesn't snag. it's audible when you turn on and off and when it gets to temp. I can't say it adds more shine though. the buttons are in a bad spot and could be easily hit when doing the back of your hair. if you hold it too far down where it opens and closes it will lightly pinch you. the cord is just long enough to reach under my vanity ... show more

Looooove this flat iron!!! 😍 As you can see from my before & after pic, I have THICK hair and a LOT of it lol. My old flat iron used to have me standing in the mirror for HOURS going back over the same pieces trying to get it straight. This one gets HOT fast, heats up super quick, and straightens my hair way faster. I finished my whole head in a little over an hour which is crazy for me. My hair came out straight, and actually stayed that way. Plus the automatic shut off gives me peace of mind because I’m always paranoid about leaving stuff on 😂 Definitely worth it! ... show more

Although I am Caucasian I have wavy, curly extremely frizz prone hair, I am in my late sixties and I have fought daily with my hair, many years ago I purchased an expensive flat iron that did a great job, however although I bought the same brand again ( 2 different ones of that famous expensive brand) I might as well have bought cheap ones so they obviously changed their brand over the years) I had finally given up and just wore my hair curly/ frizzy ( yes I’ve bought tons of hair products and only a few worked) so I ran across this flat iron and the price was so good I decided to give it a try although I fully expected to have to send it back, well I plugged it in today and it heats up incredibly fast I sectioned my hair and started straightening it and boy was I shocked! In about 20-25 minutes my entire head of hair was smooth and gorgeous, I actually just ordered a second one for backup in case when I wear this one out I’m afraid like many other things I’ve purchased and loved that they might quit making it and at least I’ll have one more lol ... show more
