This unit had stopped working on me and I had charged it all night and day, I wrote a bad review and after taking a look at the u it and reading all of the material that cane with it, I cam to a solution. It was my fault for using another wall charger that looks identical to the one that came in the box. This unit is charging just fine and does the job well. ...you'll probably be slightly disappointed. I'm not a yeti, but I'm a hairy dude. I had my last trimmer for about 3 years before deciding it was time to upgrade. The vertical body trimmer is what sold me on the Remington. The blades and functionality of the body trimmer work great. They're sharp and actually feature FOUR (not 3) different lengths when you count the trimmer without the guard. The guard, however, is what knocks this entire package down from a 5-star to a 4. The combs are just too thick. My chest hair grows to about 2.5-3" when I don't trim it. I had to literally "scrub" the body trimmer back and forth across small areas just to cut everything. At first, it almost looked like it was thinning my hair instead of trimming, but I just kept scrubbing until it finally leveled the field. NOW, with the guard on, you have 3 different heights to choose from BUT if you take the guard off, you can actually use the bare trimmer itself. If you look closely, you'll notice that the fixed blades that run against your skin stand off quite a bit from the battery operated blades. Let it be known that I lOVE this feature! Although I trim my chest hair down to about 1/4", I like my "lower half" (wink wink) to be 5 o'clock shadow past bare. The body trimmer with NO GUARD accomplishes this flawlessly. No nicks, scrapes or cuts as long as you're not digging it in on less smooth surfaces. Moving forward, I will probably use the beard guard on my chest and the body trimmer for everything else. Can't be too picky about the body trimmer when the entire package runs less than $20. Hope this helps!

My second one, first one got soap all in and on it by accident. Loved the first one so much had to get another. Be careful with attachments, there are sturdy plastic but can be broken. Replacements available

It definitely does what it is supposed to do...However, the one thing that I don't like is the base. The other Remington that I purchased for my husband was so much better because the charger was right in the base, so all you had to do was set the shaver back into its base and it would charge. This base doesn't have that, it is just a piece of cheap plastic for the attachments and they do not stay put.

My old Remington trimmer finally gave out after many years of use so I ordered this one and am more than satisfied with it. Great set of accessories and very powerful motor. Super sharp and does a great job on both beard and mustache as well as other personal grooming needs. Highly recommended.

Great product this is the second one I have bought. The first one lasted me I swear like 8 years the only reason I needed a new one is because I misplaced the charger. Now I have two even better. Fast easy trimming the adjustable adapter is best feature. I trim my face and I’ve even used to to trim my hair. Great quality, like I said will last you forever.
