Only one problem, which turned out not to be a problem. The instructions neglected to let customer know there was a gel pack inside the socket that needed to be removed so the light bulb could make the connection. I called Lamps Plus Customer Service on a Saturday afternoon and got assistance immediately. She advised me to check the socket. I removed gel pack and the lamp is perfect in operation and in looks. The lamps are wood, very tastefully done . The right size for actually any room you can put them in the living room ,or bedroom. I have them in the bedrooms right now. The shades are perfect size the color matches perfect. Just a great value for the money.
