This is a must for co sleeping but not really for ikea beds

My newborn hates the cradle and the bassinet. She only sleeps with us on our bed. We love having her nearby too but sometimes we put her on our chest while she doesn’t sleep. I was worried that we would fall asleep with her on the chest and wanted something next to protect her. This works well. It’s
not meant for ikea kind of beds where the slats are low. It assumes that the slats are on the same level as the edge of the bed. So we had a lot of difficulty installing It and are mostly hacking it right now. Due to the low slats, the expected height reduces significantly for us. I’m reducing 2 stars coz this is not clear in the item description and they must accommodate such beds too. I’m adding 1 star back again coz there doesn’t seem to be any other products for such beds anyway.

Works to keep kid from falling off the bed.

Got this for granddaughter who tends to fall out of bed. Works great for that. Was a little difficult to install. Wish the rail would open to hang straight down for when making the bed or if someone else is going to use the bed. As is; we need to remove it when other (adult) company comes to spend th

Definitely not for high/pillow top mattresses

We tried to use this but our mattress was too tall. By the time it was installed it only provided two inches of guarding. It was easy to install and I would’ve kept it had our mattress worked with it better. Returned item easily without any issues.

We got this for our kids for a hotel stay and we’re able to use one rail for each bed, even with the really thick hotel mattress. It was tall enough and very secure. I did not get a picture of it on the actual bed but you can see how tall the mattress is! I definitely recommend this product, and for

I was iffy about this product once I installed it on the bed. It seemed like it would not hold but it has prevented my toddler from falling off of bed multiple times. It is sturdy and easy to put together. Very happy with this purchase

I haven't fell out bed yet ♥️

It is great quality for the money. Very versatile. Not too heavy weight. Easy for me to install. Very comfortable mesh if you push yourself against it like a baby. Very easy to fold down. Glad I haven't fallen out of bed ♥️

Great for small dogs that might easily be knocked off the bed

ive coslept with my daughter pretty much since she was born, and there have been tons of things that have helped that process be so smooth and successful. its not safe to cosleep so i don't recommend, but my daugh has never been able to sleep a single minute without being by my side. so this has help
ed sooo much now that shes 16 months and rolls and readjusts all night to the point shes rolling off the bed. this has kept her from falling off the bed on multiple occasions. its amazing i definitely recommend.

I have a 6 month old daughter that sometimes really likes to sleep with her mama. This is very helpful so that she doesn’t roll off of our bed during the night and will be practical for when she’s older and has her own bed

works as it should, not great for campers

This is a fairly good product. I bought this to use in my camper bunk beds. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does not fit exactly right on a camper bunk, but that is not what this is advertised for. This product works best with a flat frame of box spring bed. It’s barely worked with our frame… we are unable to use the swing down feature due to the type of bed that we have. The bed rail sits inside the frame as we do not have a flat bed frame.
