The only thing I don't like, is if the mattress sits in a recessed bedframe (as ours does), the strap at the bottom can't be closed, and the unit kind of smashes the mattress up a bit, as it's crammed between the mattress and frame. Fortunately, after a lot of finnagling, and a little just letting the kid use it, it has sort of impressed itself into the mattress, and is held firmly there.
