We had the gate installed for a little over a week. Easy to install, easy to open (for the adults), and it seemed really sturdy. Looks nice in our old farmhouse. That being said, we put up the gate in preparation of the baby crawling. We wanted to create a safe place for him to explore. Guys. My 3 year old took it apart in less than 2 minutes. The angle adjustment bars on either side of the gate just twist up to secure it. They don’t lock. He just unscrews it and takes those pins out. Then I have small pieces and an unsecured gate. Now it’s a constant battle. I wish it had some sort of slot the spinning pieces clicked into when they were tightened to keep them from being loosened so easily. ... show more

Instead of leaving a warning pamphlet it has a sticker on the bars, it was easy to install, it's definitely sturdy and worth the money, but the sticker was the first thing our child noticed, and of course tried to peel it off and eat it. We attempted to peel it off but it's flimsy and tore apart as we tried to peel it off. The sticker was the only problem we had. I'd recommend the company just make a pamphlet and tie it to the bars, this was aggravating. Stickers were a stupid idea. ... show more

Purchased this to keep the dogs from storming the front door. Gate was simple to assemble and install. You can fold and alter the shape of the fit for your need. Downfall is it doesn’t feel solid and sturdy in the middle because of the length and the stability is in the wall. And the latch is definitely not child proof, it is super easy to use. Convenient for us and maybe for those not using it to keep kids contained, but my 4 yr old has no problem going in and out. Fills it’s purpose for what we got it for and it looks nice. ... show more
