Install was super easy. First test drive I noticed no sound differance at all. Actually I live on a mountain so prior to installing the CAI I used my Db meter and recorded the sound level driving up the hill. Did the same after install and NO change. As for performance, I did notice that the throttle was more responsive and my 06 TJ had a slight more giddy up when called for. I have not calculated MPG changes but I anticapate sightly more if I can keep my foot off the throttle. Long story short....I like the performance and looks of it.

Kit is made well and fit with no issues. The filter is very cheap quality though, you can always measure the dimensions of the filter and get a quality one from AFE or K&N.

Installed pretty easy. Although, if you have a TB spacer, I had to remove mine due to the tube rubbed oh hood. I didn’t like the spacer anyways. I noticed on the heat shield upper side has a mounting bracket that was not on the instructions. I installed a zip tie through it to my support rod or the shield will vibrate. Not to sure on hp gain but it does look good installed and sounds better then stock. I would recommend this intake. Installed on my 2k wrangler TJ sport.

I cannot think of anything I disliked about this product. Install took less than an hour with unbolting the factory air filter box the most difficult. I just finished the install and haven't had time to report on improved performance and gas mileage but with the improved air flow my TJ now growls...I wish I did this sooner. See before - during and after photos.

Excellent product, immediate improvement in acceleration and throttle response. Slight issue at the beginning with check engine light, but reseating the IAT sensor resolved the issue. Highly recommend

Very easy to install but be very careful that the cold air pipe is lower than the rib in center of hood or it will rub pipe, speaking from experience had to cut about 1/4 inch or so off of throttle body boot to be low enough so hood didn't hit pipe.
