I bought these for a solar setup for my house. These are in a 2P4S 48v set up. So far they only have a few cycles from testing. I'll update more after I use them. The good: Out of the eight batteries I got, four tested at 280 amp hours and I ended up with four at 300 amp hours. Self-Discharge seems relatively low. It seems like it's only a couple percent a month. It came with bolts and caps, and I had no trouble torquing the bolts to spec without any stripping or twisting. I have not tested it, but these are listed to have a low temperature cut off. Note that that is a cut off, but not heating. This is fine for my house. I had an issue, and tech support replied within a day, and after a little back and forth replaced my battery without issue. They paid return shipping, and shipped out a replacement fairly quickly. These are a bit heavy, but nowhere near that of lead acid. These are easily moved by one person. The bad: One of the eight I bought tested out to only 150 amp hours. I had to get this one replaced. Tech support does not work US hours. They will promptly reply overnight, both with email and Amazon communication. This does mean that tech support problems problems take a little longer to resolve. I should have been able to get them to replace my battery within 48 hours, and it took them at least 72 of communication to get the tests done they wanted because by the time I could reply they were gone. The self discharge is not even, which is okay except that these do not balance themselves very well in series. A properly built BMS setup should be able to allow current through to chop off the other batteries in series. When one battery finished charging the BMS cut off the internal battery, but also held the other batteries back from finishing charging. After talking with tech support they did say I should have a equalizer on this. That is not mentioned in the manual or on the advertisements. This is another expense that cuts into the value of these batteries versus buying dedicated 48 volt server rack batteries. I think if I hadn't already had bus bars and wires this would not have been worth the money to do a 48 volt setup. I think these would work great on a 12-volt setup though. Eventually I plan to ditch the cases and just hook the cells up to my own BMS, but I wanted something to get going quick.
