  • Great little portable grill, even in the wind!
Style: Large w/Grill and Pot Stand
Fabulous little stove/grill/fire pit. I took this on the beach when there was a constant wind and it performed amazingly. Was able to start a fire with a simple Bic lighter easily as the inside was protected from the wind. I've used this several times as it's easy to start, easy to keep a fire going, and effective. As a grill it was a quick and no hassle way to cook some tuna fillets. I've used it as a fire pit by placing it on a metal table. For other surfaces perhaps a stone tile would work as well, but I haven't tried it. It also cools down quickly. It was cool to the touch by the time we finished eating and packing it up is a breeze. As one who owns multiple fire pits, this is the best due to its size, portability, and usefulness. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Great grilling unit
Style: Small w/Grid
this product is easy to use and is sturdy. Heat output was great for what we needed, and is great for camping.

  • Not perfect but lightweight and reasonably easy to use
Style: Large, Stainless Steel Grill
I wish it was a little bigger but it's still big enough to cook with my skillet in the woods. The oven door gets really hot and the metal buckles so the latch doesn't want to stay closed, but if you fold the handle down in front of it it stays closed just fine. Don't try to open it with bare hands, it gets hot fast! Build quality is okay, but one of the metal dowels in mine broke the second time I took it out and I had to replace it. Also be careful to fold it correctly and don't try to force it folded or things will break, I think that's how I broke that dowel. Steel finish will burnish with heat. ... show more

  • Well made & just the right size to make a good hot meal.
Style: Large w/Grid
This is a great stove! I have had similar folding stoves but this one beats them all. I bought the large model and it comes in a sipper carrying case. For camping it's great no burning $ on fuel tanks. Just put a small can inside with a little sterno gel or alcohol and a few wood chips. The stove also has a large surface grate on top to accommodate a large pot or pan. I live in Florida, and after the power goes out for a few days, this stove is a keeper... to have on hand! ... show more

  • Perfect little stove
Style: Large w/Grill and Pot Stand
The picture shown is my first use. I think it is very sturdy. My cast iron weighs a good bit and held it up no issue. It can put out some heat also. Breaks down to a small size. Easy to assemble. My only issue as some have said is the door is a little finicky with the handle but I just leave it open while cooking to let the air flow in and keep feeding the fire. The door works fine just a little twisting and turning needed to get it to latch. Overall it’s worth the money, It’s durable, and will last a while from what I can tell. ... show more

  • Cool Little Stove
Style: Small w/Grid
I have recently been wanting to go camping again. I haven’t been in so long that I did not have any gear which created two issues: 1. Starting at scratch 2. getting to try lots of new things! This was one of those little guilty pleasures. I had to ask myself a question: would I like to have a portable firebox I can use anywhere? Answer: YES. First of all, this stove has some weight to it. It is made out of stainless steel. Which means if you’re an ultralight hiker with an ideal pack weight, go ahead and see yourself out of this review. If you don’t care about weight and want to have a fun way to cook; keep reading. Second, this little firebox is well built. I do not have any suspicion of this thing breaking anytime soon. Third, grate turned red hot during the process. I’m not sure if that was intended, but it was alarming (see pictures). I ran some tests to check integrity and it seems even though the grate gets red hot, it will not bend too severely. If this sound concerning, I would suggest purchasing the grill option instead. Summary: Functional, although a bit heavy, firebox that can support some heavier cooking vessels. Easy to use and easy to clean. ... show more

  • It's good...
This is the large tall version and it's like a little smoker grill. I added a stainless mesh bottom to hold the coals and fire rope around the door to keep the temperature down for smoking. It's great!

  • It will work but it's cheaply made
Style: Small w/Grid and Pot Stand
Let me just get this out of the way, this thing is cheaply made, it's loosely held together and when folding the metal they didn't remove the plastic film on it. So when you use this thing you have to let it burn off the plastic stuck in and around the folded metal. And all the parts are very loosely held in place or together, to the grill grate has a fair bit of play. Quick side note on the grill grate, it's like a baking cooling rack that someone shrunk down. The pot holder top slides around as well. The fuel door wobbles, and the ash and drip tray is just incredibly sloppy in terms of fit. It's very very cheaply made from those facts and the fact the metal is easy to flex. Now on to the good. When assembled and set up, it still is loosely built. BUT!! you can put you hand on it and move it around and such and it's fairly sturdy. So I would trust it to hold my cast iron pan or a pot of water, or grilled a burger or something on it. The door to the fuel bay it cheap but opens up nice and easy, so putting wood or charcoal in should be super easy. Door opening is 4.5 x 3 inches or 115 x 75 mm. The ash and drip tray is nice little feature even if barely thought out. When set up my small grill has a grill surface of 5.25 x 5.25 inches or about 135 x 135 mm which is good for any camp meal. When folded and no counting the pot holder (which doesn't fit in carry case) it's 8.25 x 1.25 x 5.5 inches or 210 x 32 x 140 mm. So this can easily fit into any bag, so it's compact. Weight i didn't measure but i would say over 1 pound maybe close to 2 pounds or a bit under a kilogram. So not heavy for what it offers. overall if you need a cheap stove, ya sure go for this. Otherwise i'd spend a little extra money and get something better made. Because the fact they left the plastic film on the metal during manufacturing, says how little care was put into constructing this. But it definitely will work. ... show more
