First of all I’m a windows guy. I’ve used Lenovos, Dell, HP etc. My most recent laptop was an old Dell Latitude and while it still works like all my laptops, it began to bog down, getting slower and slower with each passing year. I wanted something light, fast and something that won’t slow down over time. I decided to try an Apple Air to see what the great reviews were all about. I wanted 16 gb on the board and the ability to surf the web, do work related word processing etc. , nothing ridiculously labor intensive and the Air seemed to fit the bill. One thing I discovered quickly though is they aren't cheap. I decided since I’m just a rookie with an Apple I should consider a refurbished laptop. My Air was delivered quickly and at just over 700 bucks not crazy expensive. Buying a refurb is always chancy. I was very concerned but my laptop arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or marks whatsoever. It booted up immediately and even though it was an M1/chip it was crazy fast. Buying 2020 technology was kind of scary since it could be outdated but YouTube reviews were all accurate in saying that the M1 chip is still a great buy. I will say there is a learning curve going from Windows to Apple but every day I get more proficient. I saved over 400 bucks buying a refurbished unit and gained a great little laptop. ... show more

computer looks almost brand new, operates beautifully, only issue is the device arrived already at 94% battery health which isnt horrible but thats quite a large chunk of battery health, thats the gamble you take buying refurbished though, over all im happy with this device and will recommend alot of folks to buy refurbished ... show more

The laptop has been fantastic for my needs. It's incredibly fast and handles everything I throw at it with ease, from multitasking with demanding applications to editing photos and videos. The 16GB of RAM makes a noticeable difference in performance, especially when working with large files. I also want to commend this retailers customer service for their helpfulness. I had a minor issue with the order initially, but they were quick to resolve it to my satisfaction. Their responsiveness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. I opted for the "Excellent condition" purchase, but unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its label. Upon inspection, I noticed several stains, both on the keyboard and the top lid, proving stubborn to remove. Additionally, there are noticeable scratches on the laptop's body, with one glaring example right on the Apple logo. Furthermore, the battery health indicates a maximal capacity of only 91%, suggesting it wasn't properly maintained during the renewal process. While I've just received the laptop, I'm apprehensive about discovering further issues down the line. If you're considering purchasing this laptop, exercise caution, as the "Excellent" option falls far short of the standard I had anticipated. Update: I was using the laptop when it indicated I had around 50% battery capacity. However, it suddenly turned off after 10 minutes. When I plugged it into a socket, it turned back on and showed that the battery life was at 11%. How is this possible? ... show more

    • Good but not what I expected!
This is an objective review. The laptop should have been in Excellent (renewed) condition. While the laptop visually was in a good condition (slight barely noticeable scratches and wear on keyboard which is not important for me) the battery and SSD part was really disappointing. The battery health was 91% which is not new (or close to renewed) and SSD was also heavily used, none of them were replaced. Even though laptop is in good condition overall it is not what was described. Ps. If the description said that it was not renewed and it was in used but very good condition I would have not had any problems, but I expected renewed laptop in EXCELLENT condition which it was not!
