    • Great Recliner!
I'm very pleased with this recliner. I wanted it for a small living room (not for an RV) and it works perfectly. Many other recliners sit on a single short pole (in order to swivel) but this recliner has 2 curved sides that sit on a ring base; as result the base is sturdier while still swiveling very well. I like the way the foot rest extends (with a hand switch) and retracts (by pressing in with one's calves). This chair is also very comfortable and has 2 reclining positions. I like the fact that it takes up less space and is light weight -- all-in-all an excellent recliner for home (or RV). My one complaint is that the few screws needed were not properly packed and it was sheer luck that the screws and bolts were still in the box. (They were rolling around freely.) The box has hand openings (for being carried) and so it was fortunate that these screws/bolts were not lost. (Notice that another reviewer complained about a missing screw.) Whoever is packaging these recliners into their transport boxes needs some more training. ... show more

    • Just what I needed for the office man cave!
So I wanted/ needed a recliner for my home office/ man cave. But I didn't have room for a standard recliner... until I came across this product. After reading the reviews I pulled the trigger. First off.... perfect fit for my office desk and area and it feels like a first class seat. I'm 6'2 225lbs and it fits and feels like a very fine leather glove. You can lock the recline in any position and recline without the foot rest up. With the foot rest up you can easily relax or fall asleep in front if the big screen. It is the perfect office chair/cinema like recliner and the right size. Although it does not roll (only swivles)... the very light weight makes it easy to push forward or back if needed. Now some small cons for those out there who have come across this product; and many of these have been brought up in prior reviews on this product. First, it sits low and does not adjust in height. For a tall guy like me it took time to get used to that. Secondly, the foot rest is tough to push back in. This will be trouble for those RV driving retirees. Both my parents tried and struggled to push the foot rest back down. And finally, be cautious of the leather flap between the chair and footrest. One rest of my leg and foot on it and the weight immideately pulled out 3 staples. Easy to fix, but now I know to be very cautious of that section. In all... The chair arrived in a box, and it must have been too heavy for the FedEx driver because a main screw had snapped that holds the seat to the base, thus rendering it not usable upon arrival. Husband can fix almost anything, or try and rig something to make it right, but in this case he searched in every hardware store of our small town and could not match the bolt caliper or thread. I wrote to the company about the issue. While they never replied to my email, about two weeks later an envelope arrived with the screw and an assembly kit. In the meantime, my husband had gone to the local Autozone and was able to match the bolt up. At least the company stood by their product and sent me a remedy so the chair didn't need to be returned. It's a nice chair, fairly comfy. Not a secure or stableness, as I think it wobbles a bit. I'm 5'9 and almost too tall for it. But it looks great in the living room and works well for small spaces. The design, color, and material are very nice, and the cushions on the arms are very soft to touch. I'd recommend buying it again. ... show more

This review begins with a thumbs down👎 but ends with a 👍 due to the company standing behind their product. Please read through the end of my review. The surface of the fabric flakes off in short order. We purchased it in September, 2022 and in 4-5 months of use in our living room the fabric began to show poor quality. Photo was taken August 9, 2023. It may suite those who use it occasionally but I highly recommend avoiding this chair if you intend to use it on a regular basis. In addition, the reclining mechanism does not work easily and is noisy, sometimes squawks when reclining. Also the reclining position gives a person the feeling you are about to slide out of it, in other words, it’s at too great an angle and should be closer to flat in my opinion. Unfortunately my wife spent $400 on an anniversary gift that detracts from our home due to the shabby appearance. Best to invest more and get something that lasts. Now we have to make the decision whether to have it reupholstered or junk it and go shopping in person. Purchasing something like a recliner online was a mistake. Our son encouraged us to follow through on the warranty. I called the manufacturer in Bristol, Indiana and spoke with John. Upon learning what had happened to the chair he arranged a full refund through Amazon. I could not ask for a better customer service representative.🤗 Though I am not happy with the chair my respect for the company has been restored. ... show more

    • Lovely small r
For the price this chair is very nice and extremely comfortable. It replaces a glider with footstool that I have had for nearly 20 years so I was apprehensive about adjusting to the change. It is not an issue! I just received the chair and have only had it for 2 days but I liked it and got cozy in it immediately. Time will tell about the controls for adjusting and reclining..adjusting the seat and back is a turn knob that locks that I think will be fine but the leg riser has a pull out panel on the side instead of a lever and seems a bit on the flimsy side but as I said...time will tell. The chair is on the small side which makes it perfect for me (140 lb woman) and the space I want it in...but a big man might not find it so comfortable. Since these chairs are initially designed for RV's and small spaces..that would be a consideration. ... show more
