I ordered this item knowing that my 9 month old puppy would soon be spayed, and figured that it would be good to have on hand. Then, out of the blue, she somehow got a hold of a piece of rope toy when we weren't looking and swallowed it, and ended up needing surgery to remove it from her "system". I'm so happy that we had this recovery suit on hand, as she did NOT do well with the cone at all. This is easy to take on and off, appears to be comfortable, and is also pretty cute. It blocks her incision area well so that she leaves it alone, and also our other dogs can't mess with it (which you do not get with a cone). It washes well and didn't shrink or anything. You do have to roll it up when they need to use the bathroom, so be aware of that. ... show more

A very good quality surgery suit. I got this for my female that likes to mark when we go places and is working with a trainer. she likes to get out of diapers so we were going to try this. Unfortunately, it was a bit to big for her, but that is totally my fault as I think I misunderstood the measurements when I was trying to measure for it. It does fit my other dog perfectly though! I ordered X-small for my girl. Her measurements are: Chest 14.5”, Back 13”, Neck 8.5”. The ad measurements for X-small are: Chest 16-17.5" (???), Back 8-9", Neck 10.6". That being said, this fits my girl pretty well. I would have liked a little more length in the back, just so it weren't so tight against her tail (she could not poop while wearing this). The chest size is good for her even though she is a few inches smaller than suggested measurements. The neck on this sits lower than the actual neck (where you would measure for a collar), so this size suits her well. Maybe I could have ordered Small, I'm not sure since the chest sizing is so big. Overall, it's a good fit and I will try to use this when she is spayed. ... show more
