I am very happy with this rca level controller. The volume knob has detents as you adjust it and it feels really nice. The cables are well made and the terminals are secure. My only complaint is the destination for left and right are hard to notice at first. I though the R was right but it's just the recoil logo. The plastic cast has a clear accent and black for left and right. It threw me off for a second but I got it in the end. Overall, really good quality rca controller. 5 stars. ... show more

This Recoil RCA level controller is pretty straightforward, but it does exactly what it’s meant to do. The knob has clicky detents as you turn it, which actually makes it easier to make small, repeatable adjustments without guessing where you left off. The cable is solid, and it works well for trimming the *source level* going into an amplifier — just remember this isn’t the same as adjusting the amp’s internal gain. Most modern amps include their own dedicated remote knobs for that. I don’t have this flush‑mounted in a dash since I’m not interested in drilling holes, but it’s compact enough that I may 3D‑print a small enclosure and tuck it somewhere discreet. For anyone wanting an external level control without modifying their vehicle, that’s a workable approach. Overall, it’s a simple, functional inline controller. Nothing fancy, but reliable and useful if you need a universal RCA level trim. The detented knob is a nice touch, and for the price it’s a solid little tool. ... show more
