I am absolutely in love with this table top. I bought the 30x30 and paired it with some hairpin legs to make a dining table. I am seriously considering buying another to make a desk! This table is absolute quality. Real wood throughout, it's heavy and sturdy. The appearance of the table top is absolutely stunning. Nice grooves and variations that you would expect from reclaimed wood. This table looks like something you would see selling for several hundred dollars in a designer home store. The 30x30 is a perfect size to sit 2-4 people. You can definitely fit 2 people very comfortably, fitting 4 may be a bit of a squeeze, but entirely possible. ... show more

We love this table top for its rustic looks and sturdiness. It came fast and well packaged, there was even a layer of thin plywood as part of packaging to protect the table top surface. Although one can't see it from the sides and the top, there is also a layer plywood as part of the bottom of the table, which adds sturdiness and allows for solid install of feet. I built an industrial looking base and was looking for the perfect table top for it. Really glad I found RCG on Amazon as the Heirloum tops they sell had everything I was looking for. The reclaimed tops have all the wear and tear character, nice slab of wood at 1-1/2 inches thick so it has strength to it, beautiful varying wood grains, warm browns and all protected by a smooth satin finish that makes all the features of the wood stand out. I didn’t want gloss so this finish was perfect. They are all one of a kind and gorgeous. I purchased the 30 x 48 economy style top. The styles they offer are how the perimeter of the table edges are finished (natural, framed, metal or "breadbox"). This top is for a smaller counter height table I wanted for the kitchen in my home. The customer service is A++. I had a question on my order and response was almost immediate. Question answered and off I went. Top is very well packed and protected for shipping. All in all a wonderful experience and you will not be disappointed by the quality of these reclaimed tops. Highly recommend. Once I have the top fastened to the base I’ll drop a couple photos. Bought the 24x30 economy to serve in a custom shelf as part of a rustic pantry in a farmhouse. Solid tops with the rustic aesthetics of reclaimed wood. Great product to build a rustic table, desk, etc. I would buy again.

It’s a beautiful piece and works fine for what I needed it for. The fact that it’s not finished on both sides is of no consequence to me, but thought it should be noted. I had purchased a similar piece at HD for the same price but it was solid and finished on both sides, only returned it because it had two live edges which didn’t work for my space. So since this was not finished on both sides and is not one solid piece I feel it was a bit overpriced. ... show more
