    • Great mount. Lightweight and durable.
This mic stand phone holder is a great little piece of gear for musicians who take care of their equipment. It is mostly plastic except for a couple of pieces, but it feels fairly sturdy, is small enough to be easily storable, and attaches quickly and securely. I could see the plastic adjustment handle breaking if abused or over-tightened. One pro to the plastic construction is that it doesn’t weigh much. I have only used it twice so far, so I don’t know its long-term viability. ***UPDATE 12/13/20**** Still going strong after about a year of constant use. I still make sure to be careful with it, but it still works and looks like new after using it three to five times per week. The plastic concerns I mentioned before have turned out to be unfounded. This accessory is very good, I have used it for more than two years and it is quite practical, you can place it in any position and adjust it at different angles, it holds the phone very well, you just have to be careful not to tighten the screw too much because it will slide and not hold it any more tightly, even so I would buy it again, good product at a good price ... show more

I'm a gigging musician, and had to replace a worn out iKlip brand that was starting to fall apart a little after years of regular use. The iKlip one was about $40 but had served me well. I was a little skeptical about this Accessory Basics one since it was about half the price.....but the reviews were good, so I thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did! Very easy to install, well built, and best of all, so flexible as to the way you position things. Any angle seems possible and easy to adjust to. Will definitely buy again if need be! ... show more

I use this on stage to hold my iphone for me to use my ultimate guitar app while performing - works perfectly for me. Easy enough to set up (had to figure it out first couple times) - I don't leave it on the mic stand when I pack my gear up because it is plastic and I assume it could wear out easily.     • Best for your phone on a boom.
I'm sorry other people did not like this, but I find it's just what I need. I had been putting "cheat sheets" with the cords to songs on the floor, near the base of my mic stand. pretty awkward. This clamps into the boom and I can position it so that I'm looking past it as I'm singing/playing. All of the clamps hold securly, although the one that attaches to the stand is a bit small, and will not fit on anything larger than that diameter. That said, it fits the boom and the top mic section as advertised. The thumbscrews are metal and screw into a metal nut. I bought another brand to hold my tablet and was very disappointed that the screws and threads were only plastic. This does a great job on my phone and I am very pleased. ... show more

    • Worked good for awhile
I really liked this at first. It was very easy to put on an adjustable with any microphone stand. It was also very versatile, and you could adjust the position very well. I would say two months into using it, the clamp broke, and I wasn’t able to tighten it fully on the microphone stand. It still works, but it is not tight, I have no idea what the issue is and why it is like this now. ... show more
