I'm a gigging musician, and had to replace a worn out iKlip brand that was starting to fall apart a little after years of regular use. The iKlip one was about $40 but had served me well. I was a little skeptical about this Accessory Basics one since it was about half the price.....but the reviews were good, so I thought I'd give it a try. So glad I did! Very easy to install, well built, and best of all, so flexible as to the way you position things. Any angle seems possible and easy to adjust to. Will definitely buy again if need be! ... show more

    • Good product, although clamp has some design flaws
I really like this product and it's easy to use and holds my phone really nicely. I was initially impressed with this product because it seemed heavier duty than some of the other products I looked at. After a few months of use, I found that I wasn't crazy about how the tightening-crank-handle works (the small one that controls angle is fine, the other one that connects to the Mic stand is the problem), the sort of orientation of it and long arm are hard to quickly tighten down and then move and re-tighten again. I often would forget which way to turn it, because of it's orientation and strange shape, and in my haste I tightened rather than loosening and sure enough, that plastic clamp part broke - very easy to do looking back. It has potential to be a really great product. but the main clamp has some design flaws... honestly if it was a metal clamp with a simple wing nut it would be 1000 times better, and I'm convinced the rest of the product would hold up to long and rough use. So, yeah, good product if you never accidentally turn the clamp lever the wrong way ... show more

My husband is a musician and likes to record his sets. We bought this for him to clip onto a stand and easily record videos with his phone. Works great! Grip is strong, easy to adjust. No complaints from him.

It’s not bad for being plastic. Mix stand fell down during loading and it did break apart but I was able to snap it back together. I don’t think it’ll endure constant shows for years but it’s the most solid one I’ve found with swivel capabilities and other features I find useful to attach to a mic stand. ... show more

I really liked this at first. It was very easy to put on an adjustable with any microphone stand. It was also very versatile, and you could adjust the position very well. I would say two months into using it, the clamp broke, and I wasn’t able to tighten it fully on the microphone stand. It still works, but it is not tight, I have no idea what the issue is and why it is like this now. ... show more
