I work in an automotive repair shop, we have all lights you can think of from snap on, matco, mac and harbor freight. I had recently bought a harbor freight and it was great till I lost it. then I got this one and what a difference. The light is brighter, the battery last longer. It does dim after a couple minutes wich not a big deal since I would forget about it being on it would dim. Just turn it on and off and back to full light. Charges fast and is flexible at all angles, magnet is strong too. If you are going to use it all day get two lights and I even read you can get a stronger battery so it last all day. Strong magnet, easy to charge and use. Lights up everything extremely well. No negatives in my opinion. Adjustable, well made and stays where you need it. Working on car, so most of my experience so far. That said can see many other uses, if you need to light up a room this would do the job. What can I say works great and super bright, not just bright, but lights everything you need to see and more. Imho this is the most versatile work light you can get as of 2024. I use it on my grill all the time cuz it's bright and has good color CRI, don't know the exact number but its good I'm sure. The main light is bright. Not apple to apple but compared to my desk lamp with an 850 lumen bulb the Hotligh is brighter and I would subjectively say it achieves its 1200 lumens rating. Its spec at 3500K and definitely a white light. You can press and hold the power switch from the ON position for infinite brightness adjustment (dimmer switch) I'm guessing from about 50 lumens to full 1200. Btw, all 3 lights are dimmer switch adjustable, but the warm light and tip light get dimmer, about 10ish lumens. The rear light is warm white and again based on comparison to a 850 lumen 2800K ww bulb in a desk lamp I would estimate its about 2700K. The tip light is in-between the bar lights about 3000K and decent CRI The base magnet is strong, no fear of detaching. The power switch is slightly raised and easy to feel and find with your finger without looking. The over all design and build quality is top notch. I will be buying another one for myself and many many more for Christmas gifts. Recommending 100% ... show more

After using a coworker's Icon branded work light (same style/concept as this one), I decided I needed one for myself. Reading reviews and watching a few comparison videos led me to this light, and I'm sure glad that they did. This thing is impressive. I love this light! The base magnet is very strong and holds tight. Being able to swap batteries is also a great feature as well as the output mode if you need to power a phone. Best of all for me is battery life. I used it on a project to illuminate inside a machine at installation. I was using the main lamp at about 40-50% power setting. I realized after I left for the day that I had left the light in the machine and still on! I figured it would be dead the next day when I returned. It was still on!! After 18 hours of continuous use it was still working! I charged it for about 30 minutes and used it for 4 hours straight that day. Great flashlight, don't hesitate to buy one! Updated: I have been using this light nearly every day for two months. Still works like new and the battery life is amazing, especially if you dim it a bit for the longer jobs. It has made many tasks easier as it is always working due to the large battery and the different lamps are great for different needs. ... show more
