I read one review that said this jacket is noisy, it is not. Any jacket will make a slight sound. This one is equal to the sound of cotton. This jacket does not have a loud plastic sound like many jackets now have. This jacket is very light weight, similar to my K*** jacket, but at 1/3 the price. This jacket is warm like a parka but lacks the bulk and extra weight. This jacket can be rolled up and packed away in a day pack. I wore this jacket in cold blowing wind, and I was warm. This is a very comfortable jacket to wear. Comfort level is equal to a pair of pajamas, or a sweatshirt, but in a nice, insulated jacket. A warm undershirt may be required if sitting in a freezing tree stand for several hours, but for Western hunting, this jacket is wonderful. Ample pockets, quality zippers, and a two-piece hood are great features. Cuffs can be adjusted via Velcro, the front zipper has a double bellows cover, fleece hand warmer pockets, a draw string waist, and an awesome camo pattern. This jacket has it all. NOMAD has a bad habit of creating a nice hunting garment, and then halting its production. NOMAD needs to produce this jacket forever. Producing this jacket in blaze orange for elk hunts would be wonderful. If you are a person that thinks K***, and S****, are the only two choices you have in a warm, lightweight jacket, then you have not worn this jacket. ... show more

It fits perfectly not to big and not to small, I absolutely love this jacket I’ve always been a first light guy but needed a new jacket I saw this was on sale and figured I’d give it a shot. I live in Indiana and deal with some harsh winters and weather during the rut. I’ve been out multiple times now with this jacket in rain, wind, and cold weather and it keeps me super warm and comfortable. This weekend it was in the 30s and 40s and I sat from morning til dark in the evening and there wasn’t a single moment I was cold. It’s amazing for the rain to it’s water proof and very quiet. I bow hunt so having quiet clothes is a necessity, I had a buck come in at 11 yards yards 2 nights ago and he never even looked at me and I had ranged him and drew back and not a single noise was made. I will definitely be buying Nomad gear again I honestly like this jacket more than my first light jacket!!! I just can’t get over how warm it is to for it being so light weight this is my new winter hunting jacket. I also love how many pockets there are and how warm the hand pockets are. There lined with wool so I can keep my hands super warm. The 2 magnetic pockets are amazing to super quiet to access and are huge! The 2 chest pockets are super nice to I keep my range finder in one of them espicxaly when it’s raining it’s super easy to access and super quiet to.     • Held up to -60 windchills
Size: Large Color: Mossy Oak Droptine Camo
Let me start off by saying I live in North Dakota where our winters can get as low as -60°F windchills and -40 ambient and it kept me quite warm. This thing held up so we'll for how thin it is. My only pet peeve is the magnetic pockets. I'd rather they have a snap button in the middle as my shotgun shells are heavy enough to open the pocket if I bend over, but that's easy enough to add on my own.
