A great solution. I needed a recessed outlet for a wall mounted LED mirror with antifog, and this product took out the guesswork. The mirror sits perfectly flush with the wall, providing a nice even backlight. I did install the trimpiece I know it is not in the photo but you get the idea.

I encountered some issues with this product. The hole for mounting the faceplate was not the correct size, which made installation difficult. Additionally, the design could be improved, as the screws are visible, which affects the overall look. I also found the plastic material to be less durable than I expected, as it cracks easily. Given these factors, I believe the price point is on the high side for this poor quality. Avoid this product!

The media could not be loaded. In order to get rid of the jumble of cords that would dangle down from my wall-mounted television, the primary reason I purchased this recessed outlet box was to get rid of the clutter. I was sick of looking at the mess of connections and wanted a more professional-looking arrangement, with everything neatly covered behind the television. I was weary of looking at the cords. When it comes to that particular aspect, I believe that this product delivered precisely what it promised, which is that it neatly stores everything away. Despite the fact that I am not a trained electrician, I have performed some fundamental electrical work around the home in the past, and these outlet boxes continued to provide me with some challenges. Despite the fact that the directions that were supplied were useful, they might have been more specific. Due to the fact that the box is meant to be compatible with both new and old construction, it offers a great deal of versatility. However, in order to ensure that the hole in the drywall is precisely sized for the box, further attention is required. In the event that you are not confident in your ability to deal with drywall or electrical outlets, I believe it would be a good idea to seek assistance from someone who has more knowledge in the field.
