The IP54 rating holds up well—I’ve had it out in heavy rain and snow, and everything inside stayed completely dry. The latches seal tightly, and there’s enough room to fit a power strip and several bulky plugs without cramming. I love that it has multiple cord entry points that actually close snugly around the cords to help keep water and dirt out. The box feels very sturdy and durable, and the black color blends in nicely on the patio. If you run extension cords, timers, or outdoor electronics, this is a must-have for protection and peace of mind. I’m planning to order a second one for the front yard lights next season.

My dog loves to lay by the fan after she goes swimming but that’s an electrical hazard… ya know cause water and electricity don’t mix and all?!?! This makes me so much more comfortable with her being protected and all the wires bone dry. Easy to open and assemble. The holes works great for thin or thick wires I’m pleased with this design and purchase for the price to have peace of mind.

This outdoor electrical box is exactly what I needed to keep my extension cords and timers protected from rain and dust during the holiday season. The IP54 waterproof rating holds up well in wet weather — we've had a few downpours already, and everything inside stayed completely dry.

This worked out pretty good. Caution if you are going to wall mount it. It's not designed for it. Be patient and get all the cords tucked as you close.

This was missing a seal (I had to resolve this issue on my own, not a huge deal). That aside, this feels like someone made it in their home/living room 3D printer! It is not terrible, bit it is a rough fit between top and base and the latches are so thin, it will only be so many open/close cycles before they break right off. Also,this is NOT waterproof, it is RESISTANT. There is a big difference between the two. Proof means no water will get in, and water CAN easily get into this box even with seals fully intact. It's OK as long as you do NOT need something that totally keeps water out. I'll make it work, but also wanted to write an honest review. If this was to be in the pouring rain, I would return it.

This worked perfectly for what I needed, I built an outdoor pond for my front porch and I have a heater for the fish to keep the temperature good when it’s cold outside. I store the plug and the temperature controller in this box, exactly what I needed and couldn’t find anything like this at the local Depot.
