This kit has everything you need to put a recessed 15A GFCI outlet in your wall. The instructions are clear and well-presented. The certification on the sticker is valid in Canada for a GFCI outlet, but not in the U.S. This is probably OK as Canada has higher electrical safety standards. I tested the outlet with a GFCI tester and it worked as expected. This is an old work box so it is designed to go into the wall after the drywall is up. It secures against the drywall with little plastic feet which works well, especially for a outlet that won’t see a lot of use. We will use our outlet behind a TV so we can press the TV right up against the wall without bending the cord. This is a great all in one kit!

I wanted a recessed option for behind my fridge. This is the perfect option. Its very durable and the sixe is as described. It takes some knowledge and skill to install but for the right space it is perfect.

Excellent recessed outlet box. I love e that it came with a GFCI outlet as well as multiple faces in case you decide not use use the included outlet. I installed this behind my fridge so I can finally get the fridge closer to the wall and closer to the ventilation that is supposed to help it run better. The install was very easy and straightforward. The box, face and trim plate are very sturdy and look great once installed.
