While they were good with keeping light out I was disappointed with the color when they arrived. I expected them to be lighter blue like in the Amazon description photos but they were more of a medium blue so ordered a second pair to see if they were just defective and again received the same exact medium blue color curtains. Also tried to return them and when I saw I would be charged for a pickup fee from my apartment I decided to just keep them to use elsewhere. It should be free especially since the above mentioned wasn’t my fault. Also you might need to use a steamer or iron them as they are not wrinkle free.

I bought these in black to cover a very large sliding glass doors that get direct sunlight in the morning. I was also looking for something non-toxic without vinyl backing. These curtains completely block the morning light. The only issue, which can be an issue with any curtain, is that some light still comes in around the top and sides and bottom where it is not totally sealed. So we bought extra curtains, cut them and fastened them at the top of the curtains to block even more light. The photo is from before we did this to show how much light they block. Overall I was very impressed with these curtains and I tend to not be very impressed with a lot of stuff I get off Amazon.

the curtains definitely provide complete blackout. the material is extremely soft to the touch and hang beautifully. they are an excellent addition to our home and we will be ordering more for other windows.

They feel so nice and hang beautifully and they even look fantastic when tied back while not in use since the fabric is so nice, it doesn't bunch up in a big clump when you pull them back. They're not very heavy, but they work like a solid wall.

These oatmeal-colored room-darkening curtains make my bath much darker than the room-darkening curtains I did have up. The texture is also very nice, and the large grommets slide so easily along the rod. The ones I had up had cloth tabs, and they just did not want to slide! It is a delight to have easy control over opening and closing the curtains. The woven nature of these also feel expensive. I feel positively spoiled!
