I am glad that I decided to give it a try and bought this product. It feels solid, made of a thick strong plastic. What is missing is a good installation instructions but I hope that my set of photos will give a good idea of how to do it right. As you can see, I installed it into an existing wall. For a new construction it would be even easier. A hint - make sure that the bottom line of the opening matches the bottom of the vinyl siding sheet. The cut size is 3.25 x 5.5

Box cover is not available for replacement. You need to buy the entire box kit with cover. We had a broken cover and we were able to pop the cover off the new kit to replace the cover. The manufacturer makes it as a single item that requires installation of the entire box. This is unacceptable to require an electrician to install a replacement in order to replace a broken cover. The manufacturer needs to make this more user friendly.

I installed siding for 30 years. I wish these had been in existence before I retired. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about them. I highly recommend using them. To install, you need to rewire your outlet, but compared to the overall superiority of the finished product, it's negligible. They are also of great quality.
