Not strong at all. The ears are very fragile. I've purchased 2 sets and both have broke. One set broke when I put the arm back on and the last set just randomly broke. Found his arm just laying in the dirt one day.

These Skelly joints are not very high quality replacement parts. I ordered the male/female set with upgraded male tabs. Technically they fit where they are supposed to. The problem is that they do not even come close to tightening against each other when inserted and turned. The male tabs which are supposed to act as a cam and become snug against the ramped portion of the female piece are just too loose. I’ve replaced all three joint connectors at least once over the years with other joint kits that fit together much better than this one does. For $28, I’m pretty sour on these. ... show more

Using this product for the heads of my 12 foot skeleton. I've installed the new piece but I haven't fully built it and put it outside yet to test durability. However, the fit of the two pieces isn't tight at all... its a loose fit which allows the Head to wobble. I will have to add some rubber seals around it to tight it up. 2 stars for it fighting the skeleton, loses 3 stars due to the looseness of the fit which will also affect the durability of the piece since movement can lead to cracking. ... show more

I was really excited when I saw replacement parts for the 12ft skeleton. First impression when I opened the package is that the two pieces do not fit nearly as tight together as I thought they should. There is a lot of slop, there is also no friction or positive lock to keep the pieces together. I replaced my failing piece with this any way and two days in a row I've had to pick his arm up off the ground and put it back on. I will try to use some tape or something to take up the slop and create some sort of friction type lock so that the wind will not cause it to come undone. Other than that it is much thicker and sturdier than the original joint. I wanted to replace the other joint before it fails and will keep looking to see if I can find another solution. ... show more
