    • Don't relocate your electrical outlet, these are a much easier solution
Initially, I wanted to relocate my electrical outlet in order to mount my TV on the wall. But these portals are a MUCH easier solution and MUCH less expensive, and they function to effectively hide all cables to make a neat-looking install. They came with everything needed, including the hole saw to cut into the drywall. I used a stud finder to make sure I had enough clearance from the closest stud. Pay attention to the distance between the upper and lower portals to make sure your power cords are long enough to pass through each portal. The portal mounts are high quality, but the screws are easily stripped, so make sure you have a positive engagement with the screw driver. The actual pass-through covers are flexible plastic that feels sturdy and could be painted over if needed (mine is hidden behind the TV). ... show more

I bought this to store my networking equipment. It was easy to setup and it provides flexibility of where to place your things. The only thing I wish it had would be more ventilation holes...but since it's made from plastic I took care of that. Very solid product.

I try to run all of my mounted television wires in the wall and I like to cover the holes the cords are going through to give it a cleaner look. The device secures to the wall with a clamp that is closed by a screw. It does a great job cover the hole and can fit a lot cords. I will say though, please know where your studs are. I hit up next to one when I installed this mount and had to get creative to make it work. You need about 2 inches of clearance to get the piece to secure to the wall as it is intended. Good quality and good size for my setup. It comes with a drywall knife, which I appreciate. It also comes with many types of screws to accommodate different setups. It is easy to install, but the pre cut outlet holes didn’t fit a standard electrical box (at least the one I got). I had to make some adjustments using a heat gun to make the holes a bit bigger to fit the box. You can see in the photos that the outlet is not flat and that’s because the adjustments I made. What an affordable way to reduce cord eye sores. The installation was easy considering it came with a wall template and a drill bit. I like that The opening is large enough to fit multiple cords or a larger cords. The strength seems to be fairly decent considering there are screws to tighten it to the wall.. this is honestly a very genius and affordable life Hack I wish I had sooner.
