The media could not be loaded. Pretty much everything as advertised. I will say I wish they would make a surface mount so I didn’t have to remove all my junction boxes and cut holes so I could just put the light flush with the surface. The beauty ring isn’t much bigger than the hole you have to cut using the template which leaves little room for error, I added cross hairs on the template to assure it was center. You’re gonna want to cut inside your lines. While they are bright I do wish they were a little brighter, I don’t think this is a power issue but the diffuser seems thick. The app could be more user friendly it was hard to figure out how to group the lights together and the breath feature doesn’t work like the rbg strips I’ve used in the past. Overall I think it’s the best product in its class on the market so far, I’ll update if anything changes. ... show more

These lights were fairly easy to install but they keep going offline which means I have to reset and repeat the setup process. I’ve done this 4x so far even though they’re no more than 30-40’ from my router. As of last night another one is now offline. I’ve ordered another brand and I’ll be replacing and returning these. I cannot recommend. Update: apparently the seller saw this review and said if I delete my review or change to 5 stars, they would send a replacement order. I told her no way, my review stands, I’m not interested in their bribery attempt, also not interested in wasting any more time with their lights. Pretty sleazy tactics. These are easy to install recessed can fixtures. They have a wide light spectrum from a 2700k warm almost light yellow to a 6500k bright white color. Husband really loves to use these while playing video games or listening to music. Never ending color options! Be sure to download the app so that you can control the lights with your music, games, movies, etc. It is definitely a great experience. When these arrived, they were packaged well and included all parts needed as well as thorough instructions. These would have been super easy to retrofit with existing cans but we installed where we use to have surface mounts. My husband quickly decided where he wanted the lights and cut holes with a template. There is ample room in the J box for easy installation. Comes with strong springs and a nice flush trim plate. It was a breeze and we had them working in no time. Just remember, these lights should not be used with a dimmer switch. In order to dim these lights, you simply use the application. Makes it really convenient and user friendly. Our kids are really enjoying all of the dimming and color options when playing different games on the television. Really sets the mood! ... show more

One out of four dead after 6 weeks. I really liked these. Had them professionally installed and the app worked great. Loved the color changing, brightness, etc. My only gripe was that the app is completely useless if you turn off the switch. So, you have to keep the switch on at all times which isn’t practical. I was fine with that and overall happy, until the other day when #2 stopped responding to the app. It was stuck orange. I flipped the switch and that didn’t help. Then the light was “offline” in the app. After messing around, I reverted to starting from scratch and flipped the switch three times to put the lights back in pairing mode. That didn’t work. 3 of the 4 lights were flashing while this one just stayed orange. I’ve even pull it from the ceiling and unhooked it. Nothing. Still bright orange. If it weren’t for this rogue light I’d be happy. Of course I’m two weeks past the return window. Not sure what I’ll do but for now I’ll just have a permanent orange light. Since these have their own wiring it’s not going to be easy to swap them out with something else. Too bad. ... show more

I was really looking forward to installing this light. The goal is to replace my regular canned fixture with a smart LED. The picture says it can be installed in an existing can, which what I have. When I received it, it doesn’t come with socket adapter… ok, no big deal, I ordered a set. I have a vaulted ceiling and the existing can is at an angle pointing down. A miscalculation on my part, the outer lid of this product is not wide enough to cover the existing hole (which is not a perfect circle since the can needs to point down the floor directly below it) 🙄… I will fix that! I installed the light… installed the app, connected to the light… nice, i can control them. However, I noticed that when the light is on steady 100% scale on dimmer, there is a high frequency sound. You would not notice it if you have the TV or music on. But when its quiet, they sound like those old fluorescent bulbs… worst part is that the light is not at consistent level. They kinda pulsating at same frequency as the sound. The sound frequency and light pulse varies according to the dimmer level. So, when the you set to 0%, the sound disappears… and by the way, unlike any dimmer that practically almost turns the light off at 0%, this one does not. Setting the dimmer to 0%, dims the light by as much as 50% only. The concept is great, but I am disappointed by this product performance. I will have to uninstall these and find a replacement. My wife is going to be upset with me for even trying to replace the perfectly working fixtures in our bedroom 😕 ... show more
