UPDATE: The manufacturer promptly shipped replacement lights for the ones that were flickering. Extremely great customer service. These lights are a notch above in the construction quality compared to the cheaper brands out there. Their trim is all metal, not plastic. They have good brightness and can be dimmed lower than a couple of other brands that I tried. The color of the trim is warm/beige white, and not bright white. This matched our ceilings very well, so it was an important selling point to me. I'm taking one star off, because out of the 30 lights that I installed, 3 of them were flickering at medium brightness, while the rest seemed to work fine. Maybe a quality control issue. If the manufacturer is reading this, please take care of this because you do have a good product. If only they also made gimbal lights, I'd be all set. ... show more

    • Super easy to install, easy to set color temperature
Everyone seems to want something different in the temperature of lighting. Personally, all of the lighting in my home uses 6,000 K to 6,500 K color temperature, or Daylight, as that's the most natural form of light. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be a popular choice as it's difficult to find lighting that supports true Daylight output. These particular retrofit fixture are color selectable, making it easy to fine tune them to your specific need. Installing the retrofit fixtures is easy... First, set the color temperature you wish to use by sliding the control on the back of the lamp. Then remove the bulb and any cover or baffle from the fixture. Remove and install the bulb adapter provided with this fixture, then reconnect the fixture to the adapter. Finally compress the spring suspension bars on each side of the fixture and push it into the bracket or holes in the can fixture to complete the installation. From a performance perspective, I installed all six of these fixtures in a matter of minutes, and all worked perfectly. There's no flicker at power on or off, and they are immediately responsive. At full power, they are incredibly bright. Dimming has worked smoothly. I can't speak to longevity as I've only had these for just over 2 months, but they're working fine on a daily basis for now. Based on the price point for these fixtures (6 for less than $60!) and the overall quality of the product, I wouldn't hesitate to order them again. ... show more

    • great lights
These recessed LED lights are awesome, they works right out of the box, set up and installation only take a few minutes for each light, very simple and easy. The trim around the light are made of metal so it's strong and more durable than those plastic one. Each light has a built-in switch in the back for the color temperature selection, my personal favorite color choice is 5000k as it project as a daylight color. These light runs at 14W, which is a little more than the average recessed LED out there, but that also means it produce more lumens and definitely looks brighter. So far, I've been using it for 2 months and they work great, no flickering or any issues at all. ... show more

    • The ability to have the hue I desire
I like the ease of putting in and being able to adjust the light hue of each light. The adjustment to fit is easy and they look nice. I can set one at one level and another differently if needed.
