The Undercover Flex is a pretty functional and durable tonneau cover. The cover fits the 2022 Ford Maverick, as stated on the title, and isn't too difficult to install. Once installed, the cover has a very nice glossy look and is very sturdy, keeping out any thieves. The locking mechanism keeps the cover closed tight on every section of the bed so it becomes difficult for anyone else to open. But, even though it functions as intended, there are a few things that were off about the product. First thing that really got to me was the cover stand holder. The stands that can keep the cover up for 100% bed access works great, but the holder for it is too stiff that I ended up having to use two hands to yank it out. This resulted me in cracking one of the joint cups, which isn't too bad as long as I don't damage the other. Secondly, the clamp placement near the tailgate needs to be placed at least 1 inch closer to the bed. This bed cover size was intended for the Maverick, but the clamping area near the tailgate cannot be used due to the gap on the sides becoming too narrow near the tailgate. Lastly, the package was pretty lacking. The cover was wrapped in some bubble wrap and inside a box and the other parts required for the assembly were inside a sealed bag. The side rails were rather neatly placed inside another box next to the cover. When I opened the box, the parts were already spilling out of the bag which had a tear. and the Underflex logo was on a random place due to it falling off and some parts of the rubber on the cover had 2 small deformities (due to melting?). I believe that Underflex should take some consideration into at least the first two issues I stated since the first is an inconvenience to the user and the second is a design flaw.
