I was skeptical until I read a review that it works with Mint so I gave it a try. Easily set it up with my home computer. Just plugged into USB port and drivers were updated and I saw the dongle on the list of WiFi around me . I ended up putting this into my car for a chromecast but just a few minutes of YouTube ate my 10gb of data Hotspot Mint gives you . I would say buy if you have unlimited Hotspot.
